Sewing is a skill that Allah (God) ordained for us – Black Women.  We should be making our own clothes and not following after the styles of the devils who glorify nudity. As Queens, we should represent the utmost in decency and intelligence. We can ensure that we and our families are always modestly dressed by sewing our own clothes.

Sewing is a science that requires skill, artistry and patience. It takes several years to be completely proficient in the Science of Sewing, but we should begin that journey now. (If you haven’t already).

With the Internet at your disposal, there is no excuse. You can find out everything you need to know on YouTube.

I found this video of a Sister who has a slew of instructional videos, which are very engaging and informative.

This is video #8. If you need a pattern.

It is better to learn how to sew without one because then you can design!!! And itʻs on!!!  🙂

Video #7 teaches how to take your measurements and the previous videos are about sewing safety and familiarizing yourself with your machine.

Itʻs also good to learn and master NEEDLEPOINT, then you wonʻt be dependent on technology.
