Bismillah
“BLACK WALL STREET”
The name fittingly given to the most affluent All-BLACK Community in America.
On June 1, 1921, mobs of envious whites organized and completely annihilated this booming Black Business District in Northern Tulsa. These wicked and hateful devils used airplanes to drop bombs on completely innocent, peace-loving Black People who were just trying to do something for themselves. In the early hours of the morning, while most were still sleeping, the devils ravaged through their neighborhoods, forcing entry into their homes and shooting and killing every Black person they saw. They looted and then burned their beautiful homes robbing them of their valuables and brutally killing over 3,000 hard-working, successful and industrious Black people – A model Black Community completely destroyed by white devils for no reason other than that they are devils and were made to hate and murder the Blackman.
“RUNNING THE NEGRO OUT OF TULSA…”
The night’s carnage left some 3,000 Black People DEAD and over 600 Successful Businesses Lost. Among these were 30 Grocery Stores, 21 Restaurants, a Hospital, a Bank, a Post Office, Libraries, Schools, Law Offices, a Half Dozen Privately-Owned Airplanes and even a Bus System.
The impetus behind it all was the notoriously savage Ku Klux Klan, whose members included High-Ranking City Officials and many other less prestigious devils, who had just returned from the war. These merciless devils decided to use the weapons still in their possession, on their prey – The poor and humble Black People of Greenwood.
The best description of Greenwood, “BLACK WALL STREET”, or “Little Africa” as it was also known, would be an ALL-BLACK BEVERLY HILLS.
It was the epitome of a BLACK Community during the early 1900s, and it proved that African Americans could create and maintain an extremely wealthy and self-sufficient infrastructure without any assistance from devils.
That’s what BLACK WALLSTREET, was all about. The dollar circulated 36 to 100 times, sometimes taking a year for currency to leave the Community. Many BLACKS owned farmland, and others had gone into the Oil Business. Tulsa was the OIL CAPITAL of the WORLD at that time.
There were Black PhDs residing in Little Africa, BLACK Attorneys and Doctors. One Doctor was Dr. Berry who owned the Bus System. His average income in 1910, was $500 a day, a hefty sum even by today’s standards. It was a time when the entire State of Oklahoma had only two Airports, yet six (6) BLACKS owned their own airplanes. It was a thriving and extremely prosperous Community. Which angered the neighboring whites, many of whom were unemployed.
The mainstay of “Little Africa” was to ensure that every child received an education. They supported and patronized their own businesses. Nepotism was the one word they all believed in. BLACK WALL STREET was a prime example of the typical, BLACK Township in America that had numerous successful businesses.
It was not unusual that if a resident’s home accidentally burned down, it would be rebuilt within a few weeks by caring neighbors. This was the type of love for self that BLACK WALLSTREET was built upon.
On BLACK WALLSTREET, Global Business Was Conducted. The Community Flourished from the Early 1900s until June 1, 1921, When The Largest Massacre In The History Of The United States Of America Took Place And Forever Destroyed This Paradigm Of Black Opulence.
Imagine being violently awakened out of your sleep to the sounds of falling bombs and machine gunfire, your house is ablaze and thousands of white devils are on a murderous rampage through your beautiful neighborhood, indiscriminately shooting and killing every Black person they see. You grab your screaming children and run for your lives, being shot at and pursued for miles, alongside your horrified friends and neighbors many of whom were never to be seen or heard from again….
