CHAPTER 30

“And We Made The Son Of Mary And His Mother A Sign, And We Gave Them Refuge On A Lofty Ground Having Meadows And Springs”

If the Bible students would have taken this 50th verse of the 23rd Chapter of the Holy Qur’an, under study together with the birth, ministry and death of Jesus, as given in the Bible, Matt., Mark, Luke and John, they would agree that the man, Jesus, 2,000 years ago and his mother were a sign of something to come.

But the preachers of Christianity have always been overly anxious to put some fancy myth (other than the truth) around Jesus’ birth, ministry, and death, 2,000 years ago, to the extent that the Catholics make monuments of an imaginary Mary and her son, Jesus, and bow down and worship their handmade statues.

The Christians have no true pictures of Jesus and his mother, Mary, in possession, so they use imagery and the ignorant take it for truth.

The son of Mary and his mother, a sign. Let us see if we can direct the sign and find something that corresponds with her son’s birth and the hostile attitude of the Jews against the prosperity and future of these two people.

Why was the government, at that time, against the birth of Jesus and his freedom to live as other men? The Bible, Matt. 2:8, teaches that on his birth, when Herod heard of it, sent spies to ascertain the truth of the news that Mary had given birth to a child called Jesus. He told them to bring word to him that he may go and worship him. But by no means did he intend to give a true worship and recognition of Mary’s son, Jesus. He desired death for the son because he had read the Torah and in it is a prophecy of the Coming and Birth of a Ruler who would be King of the Jews. He felt that his authorities and rule would be threatened and brought to a naught if this was the baby prophesied of.

Take this anger and dislike on the part of the beast that seeks to destroy the child of a woman, Bible, Rev. 12:4 “…and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” If Mary and her son are a sign, or an example, of that which is to come, then whose birth and enslavement could correspond with these prophecies and signs any more than we, the American So-Called Negroes here under the white man?

Our God is nursing us into the knowledge of our Black self, as a mother nurses her babies from a nursing bottle or from her breasts. The angry enemy watches the growth of the children whom God Has Chosen to build for Himself a kingdom. The enemy becomes angrier and angrier as the American so-called Negro (the Lost – Found Members of the Aboriginal Nation) grow into the knowledge of self, our God and our True Religion, Islam (Entire submission to the Will of God).

In the Bible, the Book of Revelation gives a symbolic picture of the story of Mary and her son, Jesus, which is recounted in the 1st Chapter of Matt., but nevertheless, if understood, it is easy to see that Mary and her son were a sign of the American so-called Negro coming in the future. He would have a worse enemy against him; one who has the nature of a beast.

As Herod did, the enemy admires the so-called Negro, but at the same time he hopes to trick the Negro to go down with him to his doom. As it is prophesied, Bible Rev. 19:20, actually the beast did deceive the people.

The Prophets say that the slave, being deceived, worshipped the mark of the slave-master (his religion and name). There are many of our people today who hope to be dignified and respected by worshipping the cross and by going in the slave-master’s name.

This worship called Christianity and the names of the white slavemaster dooms Black Americans to an eternal death in the fire of hell. This fire of hell will be kindled from the atmosphere and sun over America. This is the only part of the earth of which it is prophesied that God would turn it into a Lake of Fire; not the whole earth. The reason it is called a lake is because a lake is confined to a certain area. A lake is inland surrounded by land.

The fleeing of Mary with her son to Egypt and Joseph’s aiding her to make haste to Egypt Bible Matt. 2:13, is a beautiful sign of the so-called American Negro fleeing out of America to the open arms of the Muslim world.

The King, Herod, desired most of all to kill Jesus in his infancy. Bible, Rev. 12:4 tells us that the dragon stood before the woman. The woman here represents the Messenger of God. The child represents the followers of the Messenger.

In the Bible, Rev. 14:1, we find the Lamb (Messenger of Allah, God) standing on the Mount Zion (foreign shore); with him was a hundred and forty four thousand (his followers who had escaped from the anger of the beast).

The average so-called Negro preacher has always believed this was referring to Jesus, the son of Mary. But this is due to his lack of knowledge of the Bible story of Jesus. Jesus, as I have said and written, was only a prophet. He is not what the average so-called Negro is made to believe from the surface teachings of the Bible. They have been taught that Jesus is some kind of mysterious being, and not a natural man, and that he is God, and that he could be killed, put into a grave back there 2,000 years ago, and ascend up into space to await the end of the world. They have been taught to believe that he will return and usher in the Judgment of this world. All of this is wrong.

The fleeing out of Jerusalem under the cover of darkness is backed up by prophecy made in the Bible, Ez. 34:12, “…and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.” This is referring to the last days; that Allah (God) would gather us in under a cover of a cloudy and dark day. We go further back to prophecy. Bible Ex. 12:31, 42 says that Israel was brought out of Egypt under cover of darkness. The Bible, Rev. 8:12 refers to a time of darkness in which “the third part of the sun, moon and stars was smitten and it was dark part of the day and the night.”

Since the world that Allah (God) will be destroying is a world of spiritual darkness, it is natural then that his judgment should correspond with the spiritual darkness of the evil world that He is removing.

In the Bible, Rev. 16:3, the angel dropped a vial into the sea, and the sea was turned to blood. The angel who had the power to do this work said that this was good as they loved the drawing of blood, they were given blood to drink. This refers to their evil murdering of people, especially the Black Man. No one fits this description better than America. She thought there was no help for us. But help has come to us as the Bible, Is. 62:4, prophesies, “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken…”

Retaliation is certain today, for Allah (God) has chosen us to be His People. Our enemy is angry against God Coming to our aid and His Raising of us into a true knowledge of self, Our God, and his True Religion, the same as Herod and the beast of Revelation (Bible) was against Jesus and the woman who was giving birth to her child.

The white man hates to see anything of good come to the American so-called Negro whom he has made blind, deaf, and dumb to the knowledge of self and others. He is working feverishly to bring to a naught the progress of the salvation that Allah (God), Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad To Whom Praises are due forever, has brought to us, the Black Man of America.

As Joseph was at his wits’ end trying to find a place for Jesus and His mother, Mary, at the time of his birth (Bible Lk. 2:7) so are we. Everywhere that we go trying to find an Inn to give birth to this baby (so-called American Negro) we are hindered, not by the common people but by the chief rulers of this land.

CHAPTER 29

Mary, Joseph, and Jesus

The 25th of December is the birthday of Nimrod, the evil demon of the white race, who was born in the last 300 years of the civilization of Moses (17th Century B.C.).

From Moses to Jesus, there were many minor prophets and there were many wicked rulers. Jesus came, warning the white race that if they did not accept the truth of their coming doom, it would come to them in a day that they would not be aware of.

The deceitful theologians and writers of Christianity along with their chief, the Pope of Rome, know the truth; but yet have deceived the people as to the knowledge of the truth by deceiving them to worship an evil demon like Nimrod. They have the history of Nimrod with them and they use him under the name of Jesus to deceive the people to make them believe that the 25th of December was Jesus’ birthday. And, in this way, they would have the world worshipping this wicked evil demon, Nimrod, for the all but perfect prophet, Jesus.

But Jesus was not born in December. God in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, has taught me that his birthday took place between the first and second weeks of September, and that no one knows exactly what day he was born, for it was a secret kept between Joseph and Mary to save them both from being murdered by getting a baby out of wedlock.

The real truth that the Christians hate to confess is that Joseph had gotten the child, Jesus, by Mary while he was married to another woman and at that time had six children by the first marriage. So Master Fard Muhammad (God in Person) has taught me.

The Christians portray Joseph as someone taking care of a pregnant woman while he had nothing to do with the pregnancy of Mary. But, let us think sanely, as the Bible teaches us that Mary was put in the care of Joseph.

How could the theologians of the Bible write that the woman met Joseph to assure him that he does not have to fear taking Mary into marriage for that which she is pregnant with is not from man; it is from God, the Holy Ghost?

And, how could Joseph accept such an excuse for Mary’s pregnancy when he had not the knowledge of any woman in the history of man being found pregnant with a Holy Ghost’s son? For ghost means something that does not exist.

Instead, the theologians who wrote the history of Jesus and Mary should have used such words as: The child that Mary is pregnant with is a Holy child or a Prophet and you, Joseph, are the father of this Prophet and you should not fear accepting her and accepting the truth that you are the father of the child that Mary is pregnant with because the child will be the last Prophet to the white race (Jews). This would have made sense. Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, To Whom Praises are Due forever, had taught me that this woman, whom the Bible mentions, told Joseph to his face that he was the father of the child that she was pregnant with and not the false teachings of the Bible that Jesus was something of a Holy Ghost and not flesh and blood.

The theologians got this from the Jews who also accused Joseph of being the father of the child and that he made Mary pregnant by visiting her under the cover of darkness (the Jews charged him with acting like a ghost and visiting her under the cover of darkness and making Mary pregnant).

Joseph and Mary had promised to marry when they were going to school at the age of 6 and they were separated. Since Joseph was a poor man and Mary’s father was a rich man, he refused to give Mary over to Joseph when he became a man and Joseph went and married another woman and had been married to her for six years and had six children by this wife. When the opportunity came that he could visit Mary (as she called him and told him of the opportunity), he made good of it.

Then the love they had for each other when they were little sprang anew again while they were alone together in the absence of Mary’s father and this act took place. So Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are Due forever, taught me.

Chapter 9

THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven; and then shall all of the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” [Matt.24:30]

Here in the plainest words is the Son of Man on the Judgment Day. We are not told by either Moses or Jesus to look for God on Judgment Day to be anything other than man. Spirits and spooks cannot be the judge of man’s affairs. Man is material, of the earth. How long will you be ignorant of the reality of God? You are poisoned by the devil’s touch. Why are you looking for a God that is not flesh and blood as you are? Spirits can only be found in another being like yourself. What pleasure would you have in an invisible world? And on the other hand what pleasure would spirits have in this material universe of ours? Your very nature is against your being anything other than a human being.

These are the days of the resurrection of the mentally dead so-called Negroes. The Son of Man is here. His coming has been fulfilled. He seeks that which was lost (the so called Negroes). Many now are receiving His name, and that name alone will save you. The wicked nations of the earth are sorry and angry to see the Son of Man set up a government of justice and peace over this, their wicked world. They see signs in the heavens (sky) of great power to execute judgment on the world of the wicked, and they mourn.

We must have a new ruler and a new government, where the people can enjoy freedom, justice, and equality. Let the so-called Negroes rejoice, for Allah has prepared for them what the eye has not seen, the ear has not heard, and the heart has not been able to conceive. The enemy knows this to be true and is now doing everything to prevent the so-called Negroes from seeing the hereafter.

How To Eat To Live, Book Two

Chapter 14

FASTING

There is so much food of various kinds in the earth for us to eat we could hardly mention by names.

We are the wisest of all life on earth and in the heavens above the earth. Almighty God, Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praise is due forever, has taught me. We must have regularity in everything we do.

SINCE THE earth is full of food, this does not mean we should try to eat the food all day long. We should eat one meal a day and when we eat this one meal, be sure it is of the best food for our bodies to digest and to keep us alive without our lives being agitated by enemies from the food and drinks we put in our bodies.

We have to safeguard our health against the enemies of our health by eating one meal a day. This gives an enemy (germ) that may be in our food time to die – to be completely dead at the end of twenty-four hours.

IF WE KEEP adding more food, it gives the germ strength and working power to destroy the very delicate and perfect machinery of our bodies. By nature, we are made of the best. And, we have to continue to give our bodies the best and in a moderate way.

Fasting is one of the greatest “doctors” we have. Fasting is prescribed for us in the Holy Qur-an and in the Bible. The Bible does not teach us as much of how good fasting is health-wise, as the Holy Qur-an does.

THE BIBLE’S teaching on fasting is mostly spiritual purposes. On one occasion, we find where Moses fasted for the cure of his sister, Miriam, who had contracted leprosy because of speaking carelessly of Moses. Her brother (Moses) then had to seek a cure from God for her.

But fasting, as Allah prescribed for us, is to prolong our lives with better health by eating the right food and not eating too frequently.

FASTING DOES much for us. A three-day fast will tell the story – you feel better; your body begins to feel lighter and not weighty as it felt when it was filled with food; your thinking is clearer.

Let us fast as often as we feel that we have not a desire for food. If you do not desire food, do not eat it. Eat when you are very hungry (of course, this does not apply to the sick, because the sick are exempt from fasting).

WHEN YOU fast, it will advance you spiritually. The Holy Qur-an teaches us that Allah has a mighty reward for the believing men and the believing women, and the fasting men and the fasting women. This does not mean that we can do nothing but fast and still do many other evil things and be rewarded with good rewards.

When fasting is practiced for good, good results will follow. But, if we fast, as the Bible mentions in Isaiah, just for debate, our fast is no good. The Bible teaches that the fasts of people who go out and tell others that “I had a dream” and then call dreams, visions, are not accepted.

SOME PEOPLE tell stories about something they accomplish on the fast that they did not accomplish. The Bible answers such a person in these words: If you dream a dream, tell a dream and do not try to tell a dream for a vision from the Lord, when you did not get such a vision.

We must remember that we cannot be “holier than thou,” unless we are really holy. So, let us say of ourselves what we really are and not what we are not because it is good in the eye sight of God for us to speak the truth.

FAST! It cleans the impurities out of the blood and causes the body to eliminate the poison stored in it from previous meals – sometimes from previous meals of many years, as the folds in our intestines can carry particles of food for a long time, and holds strength enough in them to keep us alive for two months. Our bodies store food in the folds of the intestines and in the blood stream.

After a fast of three days – and from that to nine days – these particles of food and poison that have accumulated will be eliminated. The blood is being cleansed of its impurities because the impurities have nothing to keep them in power to live; therefore, they die and leave the person happy and enjoying the results of a healthy body – which is the greatest enjoyment we can have.

WE ARE TAUGHT…and all religions teach fasting…so that includes us too. Of course, as long as we are in the Presence of God, we do not have to fast. But, we are not always in His Presence. In the Hereafter when all people will receive rewards of goodness who see the Hereafter, there will be no fasting.

WE, THE RIGHTEOUS, must fast as long as we are present and among the unrighteous. So, fasting is prescribed for us as well as those (people) before us. Let us look at the verse in the Holy Qur’an 2:183 translated by Maulana Muhammad Ali (copyright-1963): “O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil.” Here it tells us why fasting is prescribed for us. It guards us against doing evil. Read the footnote of Maulana Muhammad Ali’s translation of this chapter for footnote No. 225.*

WE HERE (Elijah Muhammad and his Followers)…I prescribe for you the month of December to fast in – if you are able to take the fast – instead of the regular month that travels through the year, called Ramadan by the Muslims; the month in which they say Muhammad received the Holy Qur’an.

WHY DID I prescribe for you the month of December? It is because it was in this month that you used to worship a dead prophet by the name of Jesus. And, it was the month that you wasted your money and wealth to worship the 25th day of this month, December, as the Christians do. The Christians know that it is not the birthday of Jesus; for they do not know the birthday of Jesus. No one knows it, because being persecuted by the Jews, Joseph and Mary feared the death of not only their newborn baby that they were bringing to birth, but even feared for their own lives for committing the act out of wedlock. They feared Herod and his army and the religious sect of the Jews condemning them to be punished with death. But, they were not to be killed for they were for a sign of the Black Man in America, according to the Holy Qur-an. See Holy Qur-an, Chapter 4:171.

While the Christians have deceived you in worshiping the birthday of Nimrod who was born the 25th day of that month, no man knows the day Jesus was born, but they (Joseph and Mary) themselves. This is a sign right there; no man of the evil world was to know when the spiritual birth of Muhammad was to take place. And, most surely they do not know. So, do not fast as the other religious people fast, for they have different objects and ways in which they fast, which are against the meaningful fasts that we take.

FASTING takes away evil desires. Fasting takes from us filthy desires. Fasting takes from us the desire to do evil against self and our brothers and sisters. We are created of the material of goodness. Therefore, good belongs to us…and it should not be hard for us to turn to our own selves in which we were created…good.

WE are approaching the month of December, in which we usually abstain from eating in the daylight hours, as the Orthodox Muslims do, the ninth (9th) month of their calendar, the month of Ramadan.

I set up this for you and me, to try to drive out of us the old white slavemaster’s worship of a false birthday (December 25th) of Jesus.

ALLAH (God) Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, Taught me, that Jesus was not even born during the entire month of December.

THE scholars agree, that according to their history, Jesus could not have been born in December.

ALLAH (God) Taught me that Jesus was born between the first and the second week in September, instead of December. But, no one knew the day of Jesus’ birth except Joseph and Mary.

BECAUSE of the Jews’ hot persecution against the birth of Jesus, the exact day of his birth was kept a secret, from the public. So, to break my people up from the worship of a false birthday of Jesus, we turned to abstaining from eating in the daylight hours during the month of December. This is, in no way, a FAST!

WHEN we abstain from food for so short a time as from early morning until after sundown and darkness begins to appear – we cannot call this a FAST, for we are eating the same way that we have always been eating (one meal in that day). IT is no FAST to me and to my followers to eat a meal after Sundown. We cannot call it a FAST!

A FAST should be from two (2) to three (3) days without eating food. If we are seeking spiritual advancement, we should fast for three days.

IN the case of Orthodox Muslims worshipping Ramadan by not eating until after sunset, and darkness approaches (they can eat all night long if they want to, until the next morning at dawn) – they call this a FAST!

THEY say that they do this in the Month of Ramadan because Ramadan is the month in which the Holy Qur-an was revealed to Muhammad.

BUT, the way that I understand scripture, it teaches us that Muhammad received the Holy Qur-an over a period of twenty-three (23) years.

MUHAMMAD did not receive the Holy Qur-an in one night or in one day. And, if he received the whole Holy Qur’an in the month of Ramadan, WHY FAST in that month?

IF we are given what we want (Holy Qur’an) in that month, without FASTING, I cannot understand why we should FAST in the month of Ramadan, for the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an was already given in that month, without FASTING.

IT would look more proper for us to be rejoicing over the great salvation (Holy Qur’an) that Allah (God) sent to us, in the month of Ramadan.

If you can convince me it is necessary to Fast in the month of Ramadan because of Muhammad receiving the Holy Qur-an, or the first revelation of the Holy Qur-an, then I will go along with it. However, since the Qur-an was received over a period of years, I am very much baffled in trying to understand why we should FAST in the month of Ramadan.

WE should be rejoicing because of receiving the Holy Qur’an and we should teach others to rejoice throughout the month of Ramadan, if it is because the Holy Qur’an was revealed in that month.

OF COURSE, this is the Arab way, in their religious belief, that they should FAST. But I do say that it is not necessary to FAST to get something that you have already received.

WE should all thank Allah and be grateful to Allah (God) for Giving us the truth, or the Great Revelation (Holy Qur’an), that will guide us into a clearer truth than we have had in the past.

SO, I am not asking my followers to FAST in the month of December because of the birth of a prophet (Jesus) nor do we want to worship his birth or worship because some great Revelation was sent down to another prophet. No, it is just to keep my followers from worshipping falsehood, instead of truth, and to prevent them from spending their money in the falsehood, instead of truth, and to prevent them from spending their money in the falsehood of Santa Claus.

There are so many untruths that the people of untruth (white race) have mislead us in. We must come out of untruth, we must come out of falsehood.

I do know that FASTING is good. I have tried FASTING for many years myself. I do know that FASTING is good for our health and FASTING is good for our spiritual advancement.

IT is actually good for us to take a FAST and abstain from eating food for a period of days.

BUT, you are not actually FASTING when you are going to eat everyday, regardless to what time you may set for the meal. If you eat within twenty-four (24) hours, you cannot really consider it as a FAST.

AND, so I say to my followers, WE ARE NOT FASTING (in December) we are just abstaining from taking a part with false worship. We abstain from eating throughout the month of Ramadan – the month of December.

It is good for us to abstain from eating meat, for we should not eat meat at all. Meat is not good for our health nor for our body.

ACTUALLY by nature, we are not made to live off meat.

ALLAH, (God) Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, Taught me, that no meat is good for us, except the little pigeon (squab) that has never flown from its nest. But, we eat meat.

BEEF – coarse meat, such as beef – we should not wear out our stomach trying to digest this coarse meat. We should not eat any meat – not even lamb.

FISH – we can eat fish. Fish is raised under a different atmosphere. Fish is from a different world of life. Fish is born and fish lives, in the water of life. Fish is good for us.

BIRDS – ALLAH (God) Taught me that no bird is good for us to eat, and if you watch the nature of a bird, you will also agree that the bird is not fit to eat.

BUT, following a people whom the Holy Qur’an describes as ‘eating like a beast’ (white race) – they eat anything that they want to eat and they do not care concerning the harm that it is doing to their life. It is hard to live a hundred (100) years eating the way the white race eats – not to think of being able to live from 200 to 900 years like Noah and Methuselah lived.

ALLAH (God) Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, Taught me, that the people of the planet Mars live 1,200 of our earth years.

I do not know what they eat of their planet life, as Allah (God) did not Teach me what they eat. And I did not ask Him in the first place.

THE PEOPLE of MARS eat what their planet produces for them to eat, as the planet produced the people of Mars and it produces the food that they eat. I do not know what the planet produces, other than the people of Mars.

IF I could fly to Mars, I do not know whether I could say, “Prepare, fish, lamb or chicken,” and have it prepared for me.

FAST – for 3 days – FAST for 3 x 3 days, FAST for 9 days or FAST for 27 days. FASTING is good for us. It gives our blood time to cleanse itself, and in so doing it makes us think clearer.

IF you make a habit of FASTING – you are not going to get sick. Abstain from eating, if you are eating the right kind of food, you can FAST but when you eat again, you poison your body.

STAY AWAY from that which is not good for us.

ABSTAINING FROM FOOD, FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN, UNTIL THE SUN SETS – THIS IS NOT FASTING.

O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil.

Fasting is a religious institution almost as universal as prayer, and in Islam it is one of the five fundamental practical ordinances, the other four being prayer, poor-rate (charity), pilgrimage and jihad. “Fasting has in all ages and among all nations been an exercise much in use in times of mourning, sorrow and affliction.” It is also in vogue among the Hindus. Even Christians were recommended by Jesus to keep the fasts: “Moreover when ye fast, be not as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance. … But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head and wash thy face” (Matt. 6: 16, 17). Again, when the Pharisees objected to Jesus’ disciples not keeping the fasts as often as John’s, his answer was that when he was taken away, “then shall they fast in those days” (Luke 5:33-35).
But Islam has introduced quite a new meaning into the institution of fasting. Before Islam, fasting meant the suffering of some privation in times of mourning and sorrow; in Islam, it becomes an institution for the improvement of the moral and spiritual condition of man. This is plainly stated in the concluding words, so that you may guard against evil. The object is that man may learn how he can shun evil, and hence fasting in Islam does not mean simply abstaining from food, but from every kind of evil. In fact, abstention from food is only a step to make a man realize that if he can, in obedience to Divine injunctions, abstain from that which is otherwise lawful, how much more necessary is it that he should abstain from the evil ways which are forbidden by God. All the institutions of Islam are, in fact, practical steps leading to perfect purification of the soul. But along with moral elevation, which is aimed at in fasting, another object seems to be hinted at, i.e., that the Muslims should habituate themselves to suffer tribulations and hardships physically as well.

285  The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. They all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers. We make no difference between any of His messengers. And they say: We hear and obey; our Lord, Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course.

286  Allah imposes not on any soul a duty beyond its scope. For it, is that which it earns of good, and against it that which it works of evil. Our Lord, punish us not if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not lay on us a burden as Thou didst lay on those before us. Our Lord, impose not on us (afflictions) which we have not the strength to bear. And pardon us! And grant us protection! And have mercy on us! Thou art our Patron, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.

Beloved Sisters,

The bow tie is the distinguishing characteristic of a well-dressed man. Being Blackwomen, we should be skilled in the Art and Science of Sewing, so it is only natural that we should be knowledgeable in the science of how to sew a bow tie for the men in our family.

The Nation of Islam is well-known for the distinguished Brothers of The Fruit of Islam, whose uniforms consist of a bow tie, and who generally, wear bow ties with any suit.

The history behind the wearing of the bow tie, as opposed to a long necktie, is due to an event in our Nation’s history during which some devils entered one of our Mosques and attempted to HANG ONE OF THE BROTHERS with his own necktie!

Suffice it to say, Our Beloved Messenger, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) advised the Brothers to wear bow ties instead. And why not? They look much better than an ordinary necktie, which is why the bow tie is the tie of choice to be worn with tuxedos.

Here is a video from one of our Sisters, instructing us on how to make a bow tie from the scraps left over after hemming our men’s dress pants! So they will have a bow tie to match! I would not be surprised if she used to be in the Nation. I have heard a Brother say that his mother used to do the same thing.

THE COMING OF GOD AND THE GATHERING TOGETHER OF HIS PEOPLE

The prophets have warned us of a time that would come when God would judge the wicked and punish, or rather destroy, the wicked and give the earth over to the rule of a righteous people. So many of us have misunderstood just what we should expect. What will God look like? If we expect the destruction of the devil, what will the devil look like? How will I distinguish him? If the devil should be destroyed, what does that devil look like? In order not to follow him to his destruction I must be able to recognize him so that he won’t be able to deceive me. What world’s end will come, and what is that world that is going to end? Does that include everything that makes up the solar system? The planet earth? If so, what shall we expect? What kind of solar system will we have after the destruction of the present one? Think over these things. We must get down to the facts so that we can recognize them when they are presented to us. But you never questioned the first teacher. Shouldn’t we be fair about this? Let us go after the thing right!

If we want to give each teacher justice, we should start with the first one. When Moses began to preach to the Hebrews to make themselves ready to go out to another country that God had promised their fathers on the condition that they believe and obey, here was the reply: “Who made you a judge over us?” Let us question this as they questioned Moses. Why didn’t you question Pharaoh, “Who made you a judge over us?” Question me with facts. If they did not question Pharaoh, why should they question Moses since Pharaoh didn’t say that a God sent him? They should have made Pharaoh answer the question, “Who made you God over us!?” They were born under Pharaoh’s teaching; therefore, from their early existence, they believed in Pharaoh, right or wrong. They worshiped Pharaoh’s God and when Moses made himself present, they wanted Moses to give them a good knowledge of who had sent him and made him such a man. If today a Moses were in your midst and he said, “The God of your fathers has sent me” and “the Government of America has deceived you as to the knowledge of God and has you indirectly worshiping them,” wouldn’t your reply be the same as the one given to Moses? That is right. You are asking me that. A man questioned me the other day when he said, “You mean to say that you talked to God face to face?”

Where was Moses, and what time was that? What did the God have in mind? If no one has gone to heaven or seen the face of God, then all of these prophets, are liars. You must think these things over. You have a lot to learn if you understand it; otherwise, you are still in the dark as to the Truth. We are here to know whether God has visited America or whether He is yet to come. The hour can come at any day, because it is prophesied that it will come in an hour that you think not. Naturally, I had expected it to come at a certain day but the book said you won’t know the day nor the hour. If all of these signs of His coming are exhausted and I don’t see any end to the World, that is to show me that it could take place at any time. If there is such a thing as a Judgment of the World, as you and I believe, if there are signs that will be produced before that particular destruction of the old world, how many signs do you know of today that have not been fulfilled that must now be fulfilled? If you know one sign that the Bible refers to that has not as yet taken place, point it out to me.

Allah came to us from the Holy City Mecca, Arabia, in 1930. He used the name Wallace D. Fard, often signing it W. D. Fard. In the third year (1933), He signed his name W. F. Muhammad which stands for Wallace Fard Muhammad. He came alone. He began teaching us the knowledge of ourselves, of God and the devil, of the measurement of the earth, of other planets, and of the civilization of some of the planets other than earth.

He measured and weighed the earth and its water; the history of the moon; the history of the two nations, black and white, that dominate the earth. He gave the exact birth of the white race; the name of their God who made them and how; and the end of their time, the judgment, how it will begin and end.

He taught us the truth of how we were made “slaves” and how we are kept in slavery by the “slave-masters'” children. He declared the doom of America, for her evils to us was past due. And that she is number one to be destroyed. Her judgment could not take place until we hear the truth.

He declared that we were without the knowledge of self or anyone else. How we had been made blind, deaf and dumb by this white race of people and how we must return to our people, our God and His religion of peace (Islam), the religion of the prophets. We must give up the slave names of our slave-masters and accept the name of Allah (God) or one of His divine attributes. He also taught us to give up all evil doings and practices and do righteousness or be destroyed from the face of the earth.

He taught us that the slave-masters had taught us to eat the wrong food and that this wrong food is the cause of our sickness and short span of life. He declared that he would heal us and set us in heaven at once, if we would submit to Him. Otherwise He would chastise us with a severe chastisement until we did submit. And that He was able to force the whole world into submission to His will. He said that He loved us (the so-called Negroes), His lost and found, so well that He would eat rattle-snakes to free us if necessary, for He has power over all things.

I asked Him, “Who are you, and what is your real name?”  He said, “I am the one that the world has been expecting for the past 2,000 years.” I said to Him again, “What is your name?”  He said, “My name is Mahdi; I am God. I came to guide you into the right path that you may be successful and see the hereafter.” He described the destruction of world with bombs, poison gas, and finally with fire that would consume and destroy everything of the present world.

Nothing of the present world of white mankind would be left. Those escaping the destruction would not be allowed to carry anything out with them.

He pointed out a destructive dreadful-looking plane that is made like a wheel in the sky today. It is a half-mile by a half-mile square; it is a humanly built planet. It is up there and can be seen twice a week; it is no secret.

Ezekiel saw it a long time ago. It was built for the purpose of destroying the present world. He also hinted at plaguing the world with rain, snow, hail, and earthquakes.

He spoke with authority, not as one who is under authority but as One independent. He said the world’s time was out in 1914, but people could get an extension of time, depending upon their treatment of the righteous. He declared that there can be no judgment until we (the so-called Negroes) hear Islam, whether we accept it or not.

This includes the history of the world and a knowledge of God and the devil. He condemned the teachings of God not being a man as a lie from the devils for the past 6,000 years; He said that Christianity was a religion organized and backed by the devils for the purpose of making slaves of black mankind.

I also bear witness that it certainly has enslaved my people here in America, 100 per cent. He chose me to bear the message of life (Islam) to my people here. Islam is our salvation. It removes fear, grief, and sorrow from any believer, and it brings to us peace of mind of contentment.

The greatest hindrance to the truth of our people is the preacher of Christianity. He will not accept it, nor is he content to let others alone who are trying to accept the truth. He is the man who stands in the way of the salvation of his people, and as soon as the people awaken to the knowledge of this man in their way to God, freedom, justice and equality and stop following him, the sooner they will be in heaven while they live.

The Importance of Being pH Balanced

Dear Sisters, my son, Hakim is studying Chemistry and in his lessons today, he learned about acids and bases. The text mentioned pH, but it did not go into the details of what pH means.

Now, I’m sure we have all heard the term “pH” or “pH balanced” all our lives, right? I know I have. But I never knew what pH and pH balanced meant.

So, I just asked Google. I cannot express how much delight I feel due to the technology of today. We can ask Google anything!  And I ask it any and everything I can think of. We have no excuse to ever not know anything anymore!!

But I digress, pH is an abbreviation for “potential Hydrogen” and it is a measure of a substance’s acidity or basicity. When an acid is added to water, hydrogen ions are released and combine with the hydrogen atoms in the water to form H3O+ or the hydronium ion. When a base is added to water, it forms OH- or the hydroxide ion.

The pH of a solution is a measure of the hydronium ion concentration in the solution. The scale ranges from 0-14, with 7 being neutral. If a substance has a pH above 7  it is a base and a pH below 7 is an acid. Water has a pH level of 7 which means it is Neutral.

Acids have a sour flavor, react with metals and conduct electricity. Lemons, limes and other citric fruits have citric acid. Ascetic acid is the main ingredient in vinegar.  The citric acid in Lemons has a pH of roughly 2.2.

Bases have a bitter flavor and a slippery feel. They are often used for cleaning or removing dirt and odors. Sodium hydroxide (lye) is the main ingredient in soap. Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) is well-known for its odor-removing capability. The pH of sodium hydroxide (lye) is 14.

But this still does not tell me what pH balanced means?

pH balanced is when the levels of acidity and basicity in a substance neutralize each other leaving the substance with a neutral pH of 7 – like water.

There has been a trend for the past few years, encouraging people to eat more alkaline or “basic” foods because most people have an unbalanced pH that leans more toward the acidic. This is due to the fact that most people eat acidic foods, like meat and potatoes and soda. Most fruits and vegetables are alkaline. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) in his book How To Eat To Live, taught us that we should be vegetarians and eat only beans, certain types of fish, vegetables, fruits, whole-wheat bread, milk and butter. This will help maintain the pH balance in our digestive system.

Most health advocates say our pH should be slightly alkaline, probably to encourage people to stop eating so many acidic foods. While doctors, say “normal” is slightly acidic, probably because most people are slightly acidic. However, common sense tells you it should be 7 – NEUTRAL – Like water. Ideally, we should eat a balanced amount of acids and bases so that they neutralize each other, leaving us with a digestive pH of 7 – BALANCED.

I have yet to see a scientist or health advocate just come out and say this. But, you can test your urinary pH by using litmus paper which can be found at health food stores, so I’ve heard. I’m sure you remember using litmus paper when conducting experiments in school. It turns red for acids and blue for bases.

While the urinary pH is a measure of the balance of acids and bases in our digestive system, other areas of our bodies naturally have different pH levels. Our blood, for example, has an alkaline pH of 8, while the digestive juices in our stomachs have an acidic pH of 2.

We women, however, have a unique situation in that we have a very special area of our body that requires extra-special attention and tender loving care to maintain its acidic pH.

Our vagina is the conduit through which we bring new life to our Nation. It is the physical connection allowing us to become one with our husband. Sisters, it is crucial to maintain a healthy and productive vagina.  A healthy vagina is naturally acidic with a pH of 3.5 to 4.5 and contains rich quantities of beneficial bacteria that help fend off infections and maintain a normal pH level.

Whenever we suffer from vaginal discomfort it is due to an imbalance in this very delicate and perfect part of our reproductive physiology. When the balance is disrupted, it can cause odor and discomfort. Accordingly, it is very important to maintain a healthy pH to reduce your risk of vaginal issues.

So, how do you maintain a healthy pH? The best way is knowing and preventing the factors that lead to an imbalance in its normal low acidic pH. Unfortunately, the main things that cause the pH to go up are the ordinary everyday things associated with it.

Semen has a pH of 8, which is a big jump from the 3.5 pH of the vagina. However, most of the pH issues that arise due to semen are as a result of sexual deviancy. So, this shouldn’t really be a problem for the Blackwoman because we are righteous by nature. However, if for some reason you do experience a condition termed Bacterial Vaginosis (where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain bacteria), there are medications you can take to restore the balance.

As I mentioned earlier, blood has a pH of 8. So, during menstruation, you want to make sure you change your pad frequently. I change mine five times a day when I make wudu (ablution) before Hakim makes prayer. NEVER EVER USE TAMPONS. This is bad for your health and prevents the blood from leaving your body causing the vaginal pH to rise.

Soaps are made from Sodium hydroxide (lye), a base, and if overused can raise the pH of the vagina. Use soap sparingly. NEVER USE DOUCHES. Douching can interfere with the vagina’s pH levels, reducing its acidity and setting the stage for bacterial infections. If your vagina has a strong or unpleasant odor, see your doctor; a douche will only mask the smell without curing the underlying problem that’s causing it.

So Sisters, I hope I didn’t make you too uncomfortable reading this. But we members of The Nation of Islam, The Black Nation, are Scientists and it is important that we know and understand ALL of the Sciences in Life and sometimes they can be pretty uncomfortable. But knowing is always better than guessing. Educate yourself in all matters relating to your body, your home, your planet and your universe, so that you can better inform your children and also share your own wisdom with your Sisters and Brothers.
