As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters!
When I first converted to Islam in 2006, I began studying the life of Muslim women.
I discovered that Muslimahs are the most modest women on the face of the Earth. We do not tempt men under any circumstances.
Western society is the EXACT OPPOSITE. In Western society, women’s sole purpose is to attract the attention of men. Their clothing, mannerisms, speech, and general appearance is to entice.
In contrast, Muslim women cover ourselves from head to toe in modest clothing because it is what Allah Desires. We understand that He Knows What is BEST for us and submit, as the DEFINITION of Muslim is “One who submits her will to the Will of Allah.”
Muslim women conceal our beauty from strange men so as not to entice them into thinking impure thoughts. We try to stay inside as much as possible but if we must go out, we are covered.
What better place is there than home? If you have to go outside of your home to have a good time you are doing something wrong. When Muslim women want to go out, we wait for our husbands to take us out.
In Asia and Africa, women exceed the limits in covering by only showing their eyes. Our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are Due Forever, taught Our Beloved Messenger, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) the proper way for women to dress; which is the manner in which I am dressed in the photos above. In Islam, women are the most valuable possession in a society. It is understood that without the woman there would be no manner of keeping the production of the Nation going. Therefore, we are held in the highest esteem.
My son, Hakim, and I knew that the goal was for me to stay home as much as possible. So when he was still very young, I began teaching him how to shop for the things we need, so that when he became of age, he would be able to go to the store in my stead.
That day has come. Today he went to the store and did my shopping. While I stayed home and did my homemaker stuff.
Here is a video giving some insight into the TRUTH about how Muslim women live.
