Although this video is effective in showing the process whereby our ancestors’ names were changed, by showing his FIRST name being changed it does not, accurately convey the damage of wearing the slavemaster’s LAST name, from which we still suffer to this day.

Everybody on the plantation had the same name. This way everyone knew to whom our ancestors belonged.This continues today. If you still wear your slavemaster’s name, you are still his slave. He may not exercise any tangible authority over you. But technically, if you still are wearing his name you still belong to him, and the only way you can cut loose the chain that binds you to him, is to give him back his meaningless, worthless name.

We are descendants of the Creators of the Universe, Sisters [and Brothers 😉 ] We should wear the names of our fathers, not of the ones who beat and kill us daily. Our Father, Allah (God) has the BEST names. They are names which will be here a million years to come. Can you say the same about your last name?

Here is what The Honourable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah Forever Be Upo Him) taught us about our names

“He will not even Accept you and me if we are not willing to be called by his Name. You cannot keep the present name of the wicked and be present as one of the Righteous in a righteous government.

“He makes all things new. In one place in the Bible it is prophesied that “you will have a new name.” In another place it is prophesied that “you cannot see the Hereafter unless you have A Name of God.” This is why the white race does everything that it possibly can to keep you from being called by one of the Names of Allah (God) which consist of ninety nine (99) Names. If you refuse to accept one of the Names of your God then you are the servant of the devil and you go to his doom with him.

“The Psalmist teaches you and me that the names of the white race have no meaning and value of good. They are not the Names of God; therefore these names of the white race and the people who go in such names as Wood, Fish, and Bear will be removed. The people of Righteousness will not be called by such names. Imagine your being called Mr. Briar! You are not a Briar or Mr. Fish; you are not a Fish. These names are worthless to be used as names of human beings.

“This is why I mentioned earlier that you must have a Name of Allah (GOD) even to see the hereafter. The Bible teaches you, “Bring every one that is called by his Name” and the words follow that “He Has Created them for His Glory!” Their minds have been changed into His Way of Thinking.”
