بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters,
I wanted to share with you an article from the Muhammad Speaks Newspaper, that aptly describes the life of a Black Muslim woman following The Divine Supreme Wisdom Teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
I have had lately, a few instances where I was tempted to remove my headpiece. And, I could not do it. I have been wearing it consistently for almost nine years and it has become a part of me. At least, the part I present to the public.
A Muslim woman represents Allah, Our Messenger and Our Nation. We must hold ourselves accountable for every action, word and primarily our appearance, for even before we open our mouth, it should be evident by our clothing and mannerisms that we are members of the highest order in civilized society.
It is rare to find a Muslim woman in America. This article speaks of the Sister Captain’s experience in the Muslim country of the Sudan located in East Africa.
