To make all of our clothes
Corn to eat
Which we could grind
If we chose…

One pound a week.
No use in fakin’ –
About the worms
We just won’t speak!

So these were the three
That dominated the slave’s life
ADD
the heat, the overseer, the auction block, the whips and the chains
And maybe you just might
Get a clearer understanding
Of why every night
I ask ALLAH to please deliver us JUSTICE
For their plight
Which is still going on
It’s just a different fight
Open your eyes
It’s here in plain sight –
Just now he gives you A/C
But we eat the same foods
Slavery is still taking place
It’s just now she’s in the boardrooms.
Still spending her life
Serving master
She still wears his name
Still listening to pastor

Who keeps her waiting for death
While he and master
Just increase their wealth.

But her Sister is FREE
To her, the white devil does not matter
It’s just annoying to see
You making his children’s pockets fatter.
When will you wake up?
Look at the BIG PICTURE
Instead of giving the trader his money to buy you,
He gives it to you, but you’re no richer.

Everything in and on this land belongs to him
He lets you eat, ride and shop there now,
So, your money just goes right back to him.
