As-Salaamu Alaikum!!!

One morning I woke up and looked out my back window and noticed a car parked in the alley. It was before Sunrise, and I lived with just my young baby, so naturally I was concerned.

I saw a car seat in the back and knew it was a homeless Sister, so I made some hot chocolate and went out to greet her.

To my surprise, it was a Brother and the car seat was empty, but my heart went out to him.

I gave him my website and told him I would make du’a.

Single fathers have it particularly difficult. They usually have to work – as MEN. With a child, they are stuck trying to find childcare or a profession that allows them to look after their son/daughter.
