This magazine is quite a handful but ALLAHU AKBAR!

I pray you are enjoying it as much as I am Al Hamdulillah!!!

You may or may not know, but I really enjoy The Fine Art of Poetry! I think I’m pretty good. Al Hamdulillah.

As with most creative arts every now and then I will receive a Burst of Inspiration and will compose five poems in two days after two years since my previous. (smile) That’s how it is for me.

Same with music. Some days I will play and sing nonstop and others… Nothing.

I found a book title the Psychology of Creative Writing or something. It’s a compilation edited by two Kaufmans. They seem like wasps. All of the contributors are primarily wasps and based on the east coast with two exceptions- an African man and a Chinese lady.

I had planned to read it from cover to cover but it is highly philosophical, analytical, probing and as a subject, I felt somewhat like a microscope study. Usually those types of endeavors leave the subject devastated.

Needless to say, I had to take a break.

I’m still interested in the results of this novelty and the findings from a psychological pov on the inner workings of the creative writers thought processes though.

In sha Allah, I will post a stage play (musical, in sha Allah) as well as a short story, for posterity’s sake. Stay tuned.
