HIP HOP MONTH CONTINUES… ’73 til INFINITY… Devils Made Mischief @ MOTOWN and the entire music Industry. #1080

Gordy had devils on the Paylist.

His accountants were two devil brothers.

That is the reason why people had complaints about their money.

And other controversies.

Gladys wrote in her book that they were first.

Gordy recorded different artists singing and playing instruments on the same song.

But I believe this was the only song that both records were released.

He didn’t tell The PIPS that he was releasing Marvin’s version.

They heard it through the radiovine.

The Pips version sounds more fun and a dance track.

Whereas M.G. sounds sneaky. I can not get through the first measure.

Gladys book is titled “Between each line of pain and glory”

Moral of the story is:

DONT MESS WITH WHITE PEOPLE NOR CHRISTIANS

AND GO TO THE SOURCE FOR YOUR INFORMATION.

DONT GOSSIP AND DONT LISTEN TO IT!!!

MUSIC SHOULD BE FOR PRAISING ALLAH

HOLLAND-DOZIER-HOLLAND WAS A SONGWRITING TEAM (MUSIC: LYRICS: INSTRUMENTS: ARRANGEMENTS. ..)

Eddie Holland was a singer but didn’t like the life of being a performer.

So he wrote lyrics for his brother’s compositions and Dozier was in charge of the production.

They wrote a book. I have not read. If someone has access to the pdf. Please comment a link for me.

Here is an example of one of their biggest hits. It is also the title of their book. I think it is their way of telling Sisters that just because the courtship didn’t work. They still want us.

Just like you may not have known the PIPS could sing solos. Here is Mary Wilson on lead. FLORENCE ALSO SANG LEADS .

It depends on a lot of factors. The Vandellas sang more problematic songs while The Supremes were too young and cute for this story. Their problematic stories were about trying to prevent ending courtships. The Vandellas sang the girl who gets dumpd songs “Too Many Fish…”

“The Supremes were more like “So come on and get them. I found me somebody TRUE!”

What do you think?
