FROM THE MESSENGER:
FROM THE EDITOR:

As-Salaamu ʻAlaikum Beloved Sisters!!!
You hear Brother Joe X Tex ❤ above. His record sold two million copies! I remember his song but it is so beautiful to hear how THE DIVINE SUPREME WISDOM TEACHINGS OF OUR BELOVED MESSENGER (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) completely changed his life! Allahu Akbar Al Hamdulillah!
As a musician, I can bear witness, what a continuous jihad it is. Remember Akhi Dawood, Sisters. Read his Revelation As Sabur and keep your expression on a higher frequency express HAMD WA SUBH LILLAHI
Keep money out of it. If you want to make music. Do it for the Love of Allah. Never do it for your livelihood. Akhi Dawood made armour. He was a metalsmith.
His music was strictly fisibillah.
In New Orleans, there are many acclaimed musicians, who have other occupations and strictly make music for the love of it.
This way, there is no danger of becoming corrupted by the filthy lucre.
This extends to anything in life.
Do it because you love it.
When you chase paper, it corrupts you.
What would you do if money was not a factor???
DO THAT! 🙂
Being up from slavery in the hell of North America, I still have interests outside of the home. Being single and homeless also plays a big part.
But, as much as I can, I sew, cook, clean, mind my children and “home.”
Everyone is individual. The current term is “NUANCE”
This is what makes life so beautiful.
In statistics in college, I learned that you cannot make generalizations and apply them to everyone because everyone is different.
This is a tool the oppressor/slavemaster uses to propogate colonization all over the world.
NO ONE IS EXACTLY LIKE ANOTHER PERSON.
WE ARE INDIVIDUALS.
And when you can find common ground – specifically ISLAM – we find UNITY and continue in SALAAM.
And…

HOW TO REAR OUR CHILDREN

Black people in America are notorious for harsh treatment of our children.
Iʻve spoken on it before, but I feel like saying it again.
Only speak in soft, gentle tones with your children, your angels. Speak with tender loving care. Even when disciplining them.
Never use physical punishment.
I was remembering when my son was about the age in the photograph, and he must have told me other than the truth. To prevent him from repeating the infraction, I had him write out the complete chapter in OUR SAVIOUR HAS ARRIVED titled “THE HIDDEN TRUTH“
I donʻt recall every having that problem with him again.

Ideally, the chastisement should be in line with the infraction/offense.
For instance, if your child writes on the wall. First, look internally, and reprimand yourself, for not properly supervising. Then, simply tell your child, that that wall is already decorated to your liking and if he/she wants to write/draw/graffiti on a wall, you will take her to a wall where her mural will be appreciated. 🙂
Or, if your child strikes another child. This will take some time. To determine what caused your child to behave in such a manner. He most likely had been provoked. Again, where was you?
After you find out the nature of the altercation, gently remind your child, that “WE ARE NEVER THE AGGRESSOR, BUT WE DO DEFEND OURSELVES.” 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤
I am still reading about MUSLIM SOCIETIES and heard a term connected with their rearing of their children that I thought was so profound and pray that we will adopt the same treatment for our lambs.
permissive
lenient
In THE GREAT ASIATIC NATION OF ISLAM – THE TRIBE OF SHABAZZ, we say LOVED ❤ ❤ ❤
I wrote it down but I canʻt find it right now… Iʻll keep looking In Sha Allah 🙂

HOW TO SEW
I got all of these images out of a MACYʻS catalogue.
I LIKE MACYʻS LIKE I LIKE TARGET
As my Brilliant son would say, “Itʻs The RED…”
No photos of a young BLACK LIKE ME GIRL!!!
They all were speckled half-Black.
My daughter when she was a youth took some photos that many wanted me to use so she could be a model or actress. My son could have too.
But I am like Godzilla when it comes to my children.
A Leimert elder encouraged me to make my own productions and my daughter appeared in one.
When you hand your image over to other people they can do stuff like this v v v v

Doesnʻt he look like USHER? ❤ ❤ 🙂

This dress below was just too cool. The pose is rather suggestive, so I changed her shoes and covered up her facial expression to chill her a little.
But the colour, the cut, and the sequined fabric remind me of
My parents took us to see this and Dreamgirls bitd. We did not go see Jellyʻs Last Jam. I didnʻt know why then. Didnʻt question it too much. But I think the musicals went a little too far. Our next show wasnʻt until about twenty years later to see Alvin Ailey.
Hereʻs the dress.

Hereʻs the quarter 🙂

So insulting. That is clearly NOT who it says it is.
Just “any-African-American-woman” USA.
I love FASHION. As M.G.T. we should know how to make ANYTHING! So, I look at EVERYTHING and try to incorporate it into our UNIFORM GUIDELINES.
All that dress needs is to lose the belt and a MANDARIN COLLAR. I would probably just use the material and make our hijab, tunic and pantskirt.
Before I became homeless, I wanted to make one out of pleather. Feel free to take my idea. I notice my ideas in a lot of the M.G.T. garments that I see online. 🙂 Al Hamdulillah!
We gotta keep it crackinʻ! Knawmean.
There are so many ways to jazz up our garments.
My signature was the sleeves.

I got the idea from ARETHA!!!
She performed on television in a dress that had these sleeves. I cannot find the video now.
Probably because she died…

YOU CAN SEE THE DESIGN ON THE HIJAB BETTER HERE

I had so much fun with this photo shoot. WEARING it was a little more impractical….
Last one, I promise. 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤

I Also Puffed. Itʻs very feminine.
Fabrics.
Accessories.
Even the Mandarin collar can be variegated. Double Breasted. Added accoutrements.
His eyes look brown in this video. But they are really ☘️
You can see the green later on in the video. When they do a closeup. I have still never seen anybody with eyes like his. Like Erykah and another Sister I met in dtla “Green Eyes” are like Granny Smith Apple green. His are like a baby leaf green. Fa Real.
In any case. Where da new music, Erick and Parrish? 🙂 🙂 🙂 ❤ ❤ ❤
This video is fya if you want a retrospect on old dances. The KOOL AND THE GANG samp is cool too.
My friend from the East Coast told me after she went back for a visit and told them how EVERYBODY IN L.A. used to see famous people or were famous, that her dude said he was in this video.
The closeup on the finger snap! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yaʻll be good.
