I didn’t know he plays with the JLCO until I heard about this show.

Probably a smaller group made up of JLCO players.

I heard that is a common thing with orchestras. I guess like Jazz CHAMBER music. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰

He was a RIOT if I may use some old skoo slang. But don’t read his book. I was telling one of my rapper Brothers, You guys (musicians) are “much too worldly!!!” And not like cosmopolitan worldly, like DUNYA!!!

Cabell actually MARRIED a pimpstress!!!

I kept reading a little bit because it was one of those unexpected gems that had taken a FOREVER to get back in my hands!

But it proved to be too much for me and I had to quit it.

Nevertheless, I just looked up The Willie show and it was two weekends ago! LOL!

But he is my homeboy from high school!

He was in the Drum Line on the snare while I led Drill Team (Captain).

Together, we played many parades and won several statewide band championships.

I had not yet imbibed upon the fruitful tree in our community known as LEIMERT but I was soon to find out that he studied under the tutelage of THE WORLD’S MOST RECORDED JAZZ MUSICIAN OF ALL TIME – DRUMMER ABDULLAH FKA BILLY HIGGINS!!!

In any case, he has relocated to NYC like most J musicians, and you can probably catch him with Wynton (a NOLA transplant).

I was BLESSED to catch his set when he was in #dtla in 2018 or so.

So L.A.!

I had the most difficult time finding the dope spot!

So, I had made a pin cushion, just stuffed with cotton balls, that I really found I don’t use too much.

I used to use a machine and altered my pin cushions so I could wear them to facilitate the transfer of pins.


So, I put a few drops on the pin cushion and dropped it into my bag one day.
I was spreading all kinds of love and positive vibes everywhere I went that day!!! ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ β€β€β€β€β€β€πŸ’˜β€β€β€β€β€β€β€πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

That’s all I can think of right now. But I think it is so unfair that I NEVER got what I wanted while I watched my older Sister and younger Brother get EVERYTHING they wanted.


I wrote a song called “MIDDLE CHILD BLUES” and that part is not even in it!
Kinda illustrates how bad it is for us, right???

Never the less, I had a real good friend once who made me feel better by simply stating, “Be grateful because, you had everything you NEEDED.”


Now, that I am a MUSLIM, I see the wisdom in those words, which are an Islamic adage.
