I play the tambourine and since I take it everywhere I go, I decided to make a bag for it. If there is ANYTHING YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO GOOGLE or YOUTUBE it! There is no excuse for saying, “I Don’t Know.” Say, “Let me Google it.” This is intelligent.
So when I decided to make a bag, I went to YouTube and just typed in, “How to crochet a messenger bag”. Be specific. I knew I wanted a bag I could wear across my torso. A lot of videos came up, but there was one for a circular bag that I thought would be perfect for my tambo. So I watched the complete video first. Whenever you follow a tutorial, recipe or pattern, always watch or read the whole thing FIRST. Don’t just start. I get excited sometimes but I have learned to take the time to watch the video, read the recipe or pattern first. It removes any unexpected surprises. Trust.
As you can see, mine is a little bit different. I wanted mine to be big enough to hold my tambourine, so I started with seven stitches instead of five. But the bigger difference is that I inserted a piece between the two sides to give it a greater width. I learned how to do that when I made some houseshoes for my Honey-Stick. Here is a link to that tutorial.
Anyway, I just crocheted a “scarf” according to the dimensions that Allah Guided me to make (8 stitches). Sisters, before you start ANY project, even before you watch the video, say “Bismillah”, please. This will ensure you finish with the project ALLAH WANTS for you or whomever your project is for. This will also ensure that your project will be THE BEST that you can possibly create. ALLAH only wants THE BEST FOR US. Seeking His Divine Guidance Before and While We Create Is The Most Intelligent Thing We Can Do.
The most common translation of “Bismillah” is “In the Name of Allah” But it means much more than this but I have to get my Holy Quran before I lie and start making stuff up. Let’s see. Okay, here is the correct full translation, “WITH THE GUIDANCE OF ALLAH, THE BENEFICENT, THE MOST MERCIFUL”.
How Can You Go Wrong?
Okay, I wrote down the directions for my bag as I crocheted the first side, so that the second side would be congruent. However, when I finished the second side it didn’t LOOK as if it was as big as the first side so I did another couple of rows. When you follow the Divine Guidance of Allah, mistakes don’t matter. If you’re not sure about something – ANYTHING – ASK ALLAH. And you can be POSITIVE!!!!!!!!
Ask ALLAH What Colors To Use.
Okay, to recapitulate, make your two sides. Make your “scarf”. Connect scarf to the two sides according to how the slipper video teaches to attach the bottom sole. I started at the top of the side. Then just connect the ends of the “scarf” In the same manner.
Here are the Written Instructions for the two sides.

I pray Allah everyone is fine and happy and enjoying Abundant Blessings from our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad, To Whom Praise is due forever. I am happy to report that I am the same. I thank Allah!
Sisters (and Brothers 😉 ), my life is unlike anybody’s I have ever met or heard of, for that matter, except fictional characters such as Dorothy and Alice…
I have been through so much in the last month. My life has literally been turned upside down, backside up and flip-flopped, but I am so happy that it is almost indescribable.
On October 21 – one day before my Honey-Stick’s birthday – Allah took me on a mystical magical journey that ended with me locked up in the Glendale Jail.
My car got impounded…
And, when I finally was released (three weeks later), I returned home only to find out I had been evicted.
I know, I know, any other ordinary person would probably be completely devastated, utterly wretched.
But, I am very familiar with the way Allah Works – at least the way He Works in my life.
This is the third time He Has Done Something Like this to me. And, EVERY TIME, I end up with something ONE THOUSAND (1000) times better. So, that’s why I can walk down Skid Row to the shelter I call home now grinning from ear to ear.
I almost forgot I had a blog. I think subconsciously I didn’t want to admit everything. It’s kind of embarrassing if you ignore the bigger picture.
As so-called American Negroes, we have a lot to overcome due to our painful history of slavery.
The most important factor we have to overcome is our relationship with our Brothers.
The majority of them treat us like prostitutes because that is how the slavemaster reared him to treat us. However, if we up our standards and self-esteem, and do not carry out this shameful behaviour, they will be forced to up their opinion of us and treat us accordingly.
NO HOES – NO PIMPS – NO JOHNS
We have the power to end it all within us.
Refuse to give a Brother sex unless he marries you in a decent and intelligent lawful manner.
If we ALL do this, they will have to treat us with the respect that we deserve as their QUEENS and the fields whereby they produce their nation.
When you have a good marriage, people are ALWAYS going to try and break you up. They cannot help it. Just don’t believe them. TRUST YOUR HUSBAND NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beloved And Beautiful Revolutionary Asiatic Black Sisters!!!
If you are familiar with the “Revolutionary” community in Los Angeles, then you surely know of Brother Dedan Kimathi of the All-African Peoples Revolutionary Party (AAPRP). I met the brother years ago when I was President of the Student Chapter at Cal State Long Beach.
Of course, when I became a Muslim, I realized that neither the AAPRP nor any other non-Muslim organization would be successful in securing Freedom, Justice and Equality for the so-called American Negroes.
However, when I discovered that there was a prominent historical figure by the same name, I was inclined to learn more about the former.
I learned he was a leader of the MAU MAUs (whom I had heard of by way of the movie “Bamboozled” which is my favorite fictional movie). The MAU MAUs were a revolutionary organization that fought against the British colonization of Kenya in the early 1950s.
We have all heard the saying, “I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees….”
Well, you’ve probably never heard the complete saying. “I Would Rather Die On My Feet Than Live On My Knees FOR FEAR OF COLONIAL RULE.”
Because of his determination in defending his nation against Devil Caucasian Imperialism, he is definitely someone we, as the slaves of the Christian American Devil Caucasians, should know about and also teach our children about.
