ASPARAGUS AND MUSHROOMS 2

As-Salaamu Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters!!!

I saw this recipe on Facebook and you know I can’t ever do things the conventional way, Right? So, I decided to make it how
I LIKE IT! 

INGREDIENTS

ASPARAGUS
MUSHROOMS
ONIONS
GARLIC
BUTTER
SALT
ITALIAN SEASONINGS
BALSAMIC VINEGAR

Just use however much you need. Asparagus is sold by the pound. I bought one for myself and my son. I’m using a whole package of sliced mushrooms. Two small onions and about four garlic cloves. About five tablespoons of butter and salt and seasonings to taste.

Here’s The Plan:

DIRECTIONS

* Break off the stems of the asparagus.
(It’s better if you just snap off the ends. That way you can keep more of the edible part.)

*Wash them, then lay them in Corningware or any covered baking dish;

*Cover with the mushrooms
(I bought sliced. Now I’m regretting it. Whole next time, In Sha Allah)

*Add some chopped onions (I’m using two small ones)

*Stick in a few Peeled whole garlic cloves (pierced with a fork)

*Drizzle some homemade butter over everything

*Sprinkle some Salt and Italian Seasonings on top.

*Cover and shake to mix everything thoroughly.

Then I’m going to bake/roast it all in a moderate oven (about 350° F) for about twenty minutes, or until I start to smell them. Then I’m going to let them sit in the oven for about twenty more minutes. I don’t care what those professional chefs and food “connoisseurs” say, ASPARAGUS TASTES BETTER WHEN IT IS SOFT and BUTTERY and SALTY!!!
Knawmean??? 😉

They can break their teeth if they want too. I like all my roasted vegetables soft and buttery. I feel like I can eat them right now!

BUT!

This recipe also calls for VINEGAR!!!! I can’t remember the last time I cooked with vinegar, but I love the taste. So, I can’t wait to try this. I bought some Balsamic Vinegar for the first time in my life this morning. I’m so excited. 🙂

Anyway, after I roast everything I’m going to sprinkle a couple drops of vinegar on a little just to see how it tastes. And if it’s yummy, I’m going to pour a couple Tablespoons over the whole thing and shake it up!

ALMOST TIME FOR DINNER!

Chapter 10

THE COMING OF THE
SON OF MAN
THE INFIDELS ARE ANGRY

Who is His father if God is not His Father? God is His Father, but the Father is also a man. You have heard of old that God prepared a body, or the expected Son of Man; Jesus is a specially prepared man to do a work of redeeming the lost sheep (the so-called Negro). He had to have a body that would be part of each side (black and white), half and half. Therefore, being born or made from both people, He is able to go among both black and white without being discovered or recognized. This He has done in the person of Master W.F. Muhammad, the man who was made by His Father to go and search for the lost members of the Tribe of Shabazz. Master W.F. Muhammad is that Son of Man whom the world has been expecting to come for 2,000 years, seeking to save that which was lost. There are no historical records that there was ever a people lost from each other for 400 years other than we, the so-called Negroes. We have been so long separated from each other that we have lost the knowledge of each other. Even today the white American slave-masters are ever on the watch to keep out any Asiatic influence that might come among the so-called Negroes to teach them the truth. They are our real open enemies. This is no secret. The Son of Man is after the so-called Negroes to set them in Heaven and His enemies in hell. After His conquest of the black nation’s enemies, the world will know and recognize Him (Allah) to be God alone. There is no problem today that is as hard to solve as the problem of uniting the American so-called Negroes. They are like a dead man totally without life. They have lost all love of self and kind and have gone all out in loving their enemies. They do not seem to want any God to do anything like blessing them unless that God blesses their enemies too. Fear of their enemies is the real cause. The time is now ripe that they should have no fear, only the fear of Allah, Who is in person among them to save them from their enemies. By all means, they must be separated from the white race, in order that the scripture might be fulfilled. “For I will take you from among the heathen and gather you out of all countries and will bring you into your own land.”  (Ezek. 36:24)

     The so-called Negroes have no home that they can call their own. They have helped the white race to own a free country, but they have nothing for themselves. This is the purpose of His coming, to give everyone that which is rightfully theirs. The Son of Man has power over all things. You cannot find a defense against Him in a war. Your weapons mean nothing. The powers of heaven and earth today will be ordered to fight on the side of the Mahdi against His enemies. He is the friend of the so called Negroes and not of the white people. His purpose is to take the so called Negroes and kill their enemies; although many of us will suffer from persecution and hunger. But, the good end is for those of you who will hold fast to Allah and His religion, Islam. They (the devils) are now planning many tricks to keep the so-called Negroes here with them to suffer the fire of hell which they (the devils) cannot escape. Fly to Allah! Come, follow me. Although I may look insignificant to you, you will find salvation with us. The white race is excited and cannot think rightly for themselves. The so-called Negroes, Muslims, in their midst, are a shelter, but little do they know it.

“Ain’t I A Woman?”

AS-SALAAMU ‘ALAIKUM BEAUTIFUL AND BELOVED ASIATIC BLACK QUEENS!!!!

Sisters, it feels SO GOOD when Brothers pursue you! That is the way it is SUPPOSED to be. WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO PURSUE BROTHERS.

However, we can use our “feminine wiles” to get their attention.

Remember when women would “drop a handkerchief?” We can still do that. Who says it has to be a handkerchief? A real gentleman will pick up ANYTHING you drop. He will offer to help you with your bags. Do not refuse his assistance! If ANY Brother, even ones you are not interested in, offers to HELP you, LET HIM!

WE ARE QUEENS. We have to learn how to let our Brothers be KINGS. Our history in America has made us feel like we should do everything on our own, when in reality, it is just the opposite!

The Brothers are MADE to do the manual labor, carrying stuff and fixing stuff and working. We are supposed to be “helpless.” Seriously tho. MEN FEEL APPRECIATED WHEN THEY “HELP” US.

They know we can carry our own bags and open doors for ourselves. But why should we when they are physically stronger and more capable? Allah is ALL-WISE AND ONE HUNDRED PER CENT RIGHT AND EXACT.

Picture yourself as you are – A QUEEN. It doesn’t look right for a QUEEN to open her own door. Or drive her King around. Or carry bags if there is a big, strong Blackman nearby.

I know, I know, it’s going to take some getting used to because we have been used as beasts of burden for so long, but in the immortal words of Sojourner Truth, “Ain’t I a Woman?” This is an excellent way to test the Brothers. If they treat you like a QUEEN from the start, you won’t have to worry about it later.

This is an excerpt from a speech given by Sister Sojourner Truth, illustrating exactly why Black women feel like we don’t need Brothers to help us. We have never been treated like a woman is SUPPOSED to be treated.

The devil treats his woman the way women are supposed to be treated, but he treated us like crap and made our Brothers treat us like crap. So now we have become accustomed to being treated like crap and reject proper treatment. We have to realize who we really are, Sisters.

If we refuse to settle for anything less than Royal Treatment, it will FORCE the Brothers to treat us in such manner. And it will make the ones who already do, feel appreciated.

BOYZ IN THE HOOD

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful Black Sisters!

On my way home from the market this morning, I was talking to a Brother I see all the time around town and we started talking about Mother’s Day which led to a conversation about people dying (his mother has passed) and he told me his homie just got killed a week ago. Then he told me ANOTHER Brother just got killed last night! Right down the street! He showed me pictures of the candlelight vigil for his homie and the next thing I know I’m crying all the way home on the bus.

It hurts me so much to hear about Black Men killing OTHER BLACK MEN! And it’s only because they lack the Knowledge of Self. No Black man with Knowledge of Self would EVER take the life of his Brother Blackman. That doesn’t even SOUND right!

A Brother killing his Brother!?! I know it happens occasionally, as in the case of Roger Troutman, but the frequency of occurrences of Black men STILL killing each other is ALARMING.

We don’t hear about it on the news, like “Doughboy” opined in “Boys in the Hood,” but it is going on daily.

I talk to EVERY BLACK PERSON I SEE; young/old, rich/poor, educated/foolish, civilized/uncivilized, as long as you are Black, I am greeting you and starting a rapport if the opportunity presents itself.

We have to LOVE each other and the only way that can happen is to SHOW LOVE for one another. The Brothers are still killing over colors in L.A. I have lived here almost 43 years and have been fortunate, in that no one whom I know personally, has ever been killed by another Blackman, Al Hamdulillah, believe it or not.

But, this neighborhood I moved into five years ago is interspersed with gangs, from what I hear. I never see it. Allah shields me from evil. But I hear about it. So, I could be talking to murderers when I greet my Brothers who live in my hood. But, I don’t see murderers…. I see who they really are – THE MAKERS, THE OWNERS, THE CREAM OF THE PLANET EARTH; GODS OF THE UNIVERSE!!!

They have just been made blind, deaf and dumb and mentally dead to the Knowledge of Self by their devil slavemasters. So, I show them all the LOVE in my heart, let them know that they are my Brother, tell the ones who are willing to listen that their fathers created the Universe and everything in it, and that they are DESTINED TO BE THE RULERS after the destruction of this world.

ISLAM IS THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS OF THE AMERICAN SO-CALLED NEGROES.

IQRA (THE CLOT) – “READ”

~As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters~

This is the very first Surah (Chapter) of The Holy Qur-an Sharrieff that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Notice the very first word – READ.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) couldn’t even read at the time! Nevertheless, the Angel who revealed to him the Scripture, told him to “READ.”

This is a perfect illustration of the importance of literacy. Reading is fundamental to the acquisition of Knowledge. Without the ability to read comprehensively, one is dependent on another to educate her. Sisters, we MUST cultivate a thirst for Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding in Ourselves as well as our Children. Surround Yourself With Like-Minded Individuals. Exhort One Another to Truth and Righteousness.

In the Nation of Islam’s Muslim Girls’ Training & General Civilization Class, we are instructed to: “Let No Woman Beat You In Anything When It Comes To Intelligence.”

 

Chapter 96: Al-‘Alaq — The Clot:

96:1 Read in the name of thy Lord Who creates —

96:2 Creates man from a clot,

96:3 Read and thy Lord is most Generous,

96:4 Who taught by the pen,

96:5 Taught man what he knew not.

96:6 Nay, man is surely inordinate,

96:7 Because he looks upon himself as self-sufficient.

96:8 Surely to thy Lord is the return.

96:9 Hast thou seen him who forbids

96:10 A servant when he prays?

96:11 Seest thou if he is on the right way,

96:12 Or enjoins observance of duty?

96:13 Seest thou if he denies and turns away?

96:14 Knows he not that Allah sees?

96:15 Nay, if he desist not, We will seize him by the forelock —

96:16 A lying, sinful forelock!

96:17 Then let him summon his council,

96:18 We will summon the braves of the army.

96:19 Nay! Obey him not, but prostrate thyself, and draw nigh (to Allah).

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters!!!!

Sisters, as the keepers of the house, we have very little down time. Right? However, we can use the time that we spend keeping house in a relaxing and therapeutic manner. I have found that attending to my household chores is very private and allows me the opportunity to ponder some of the things that are going on in my life that I may not otherwise have time to think about.

While, I’m doing laundry, I listen to music, light some incense and lose myself in the soothing, soapy water, immersing my hands in the warmth and I let go of everything that may be on my mind. I can sort out my thoughts rationally without disturbances and outside influences. I can commune with my Creator, Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, thanking Him for my husband and all of the blessings in my life; I can review in my mind other tasks that need completion; consider the best way to accomplish these tasks; and just be at peace.

When I knead the dough for my bread, I am exercising a physical activity that also is a stress reliever. If I have any pent-up emotions, I can release my tension through a productive, yet effective mechanism. Music, or soothing sounds such as the ones in the video, help calm me and make my household duties even more enjoyable.

Everybody knows that cleaning is much less arduous while listening to some good music. Our ancestors sang while they were forced to labour under hard taskmasters in order to comfort themselves and make their burdens easier to bear.

I listen to different things depending on my mood.

Recently, I bought a “Rain-Stick,” after listening to a song that featured it at the very end. It immediately reminded me of listening to the sound in my youth and prompted me to go out and buy my own. I remembered making them in school and the feeling of relaxation was rekindled after revisiting it in this particular song.

That sense of relaxation piqued a need in me for more tools and techniques that would bring about a similar sensation, which I will share with you, In Sha Allah (If it is the Will of Allah) in the future.
