I wasnʻt even going to post today! (You know I look the same as yesterday 😂 But I checked the wire and it said the Repubs SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE had been removed!

This is pretty major esp. since they keep talking about a shutdown.

I wasnʻt really paying attn to the shutdown talk because it happens so often and then it ends up with much ado about nothing.

But bringing in a new speaker means something is definitely amiss.

I guess. At least the shutdown has been averted. For all you Modern-Day Slaves still working on the United Snakesʻ government plantation.

In Other News…

I found out a while ago that the church I used to go to (Church Of God In Christ) is founded in VOUDOU.

Itʻs Voodoo month and they are really coming out with it.

I believe the practitioners in the United Snakes are generally sincere in their desires to use it as a means to unify us. But as Our Beloved Messenger (Salahu alaihi wa Sallam) taught us about Prophet Noble Dre Ali and Marcus Garvey. They just donʻt have “the Knowledge to bring us out.”

And The most recent BISHOP – also named Charles – was the first pastor that I really remember His wife was my Kindergarden teacher. I went to school with his children and now Chuckie, his son has replaced him, since Corona.

I feel like my teachers were preparing us for a world with no natural resources or trying to instill an appreciation for like the wind, and the soil, plants animals, vegetation. You know?

As opposed to all of the bling and unimportant things to human life and the continuation of human life.

I learned the abcs using examples of endangered species.

When I was little, we used to go to church at night, when they would “shout”

Pastor Blak would get really fired up and hype, then the organist would play some chords between phrases. Next thing, the music would totally take over. Everybody is up and jumping, some people dancing and jumping up and down the aisles.

Th Ushers woud clasp hands around some Usually women, to keep them from getting to out of control.

They would totally spazz out. Some people PASSED OUT. Then the Ushers would drape a white sheet over them.

Eventually, everything would wear out/down and then we would sing this song, “Yes”

Dizzy said COGIC had the best music out of all the Black Churches.

Stevie Wonder was the Music Director last I heard.

Then he would ask if anybody wanted to come up for prayer or to join the church or both and then we would go outside and there would be this brother who had an old station wagon and he would sell candy and sodas, hot dogs and pickled pig feet. Ewwwww!!!!

The Book of Isaiah says donʻt touch it and there it is AT THE CHURCH.

One time I had a chili hot dog between services and when we went back in I got so sick.
Someone had to carry me out over their shoulder because I was vomiting all down the aisle.

Then one Sunday, I went in again, I WAS SO ANGRY AT THE BISHOP FOR ALL OF THE LIES I HAD BELIEVED THAT I REALLY WAS MEDITATING TO KILL HIM.

I was discouraged when a security guard prevented me from getting close to him.

But remember in The Preacherʻs Wife, when the people in the audience knew the sermon word for word, or Whitney knew it word for word. That was my introduction to the afct that the sermons are memorized!

But when I went to Bishop Blakesʻs church that day EVERYBODY WAS REPEATING THE SERMON WORD FOR WORD WITH HIM.

CREEPY!!!

I donʻt know when the shouting stopped, but it was before 1979.

That was when we left.
