First, I have to qualify my purchase of K.W.s book by my first impression of her.
My son and I used to check these videos out at the Library. A series of mathematics educational videos and she was a part of the crew. Let me see if I can find one. I learned how to count to INFINITY from those videos. 😉 Yeah, I found the trailer but you canʻt really recognize her. You can check those videos out. They were pretty good. Remind me of The Electric Company.
Anyway, her book… The jacket says “Thicker than Water” but the cover reads “Love is Thicker Than Water.”
You can tell sheʻs not too bright.
I should have taken it back or something when I realized she starred in Scandal. I donʻt watch T.V. but I can tell from the title it is shameful.
Then I thought about her name. But I didnʻt realize how blind, deaf and dumb she is until I read the epilogue and she talked about how devoted she is to the devilʻs name. It is not her parentʻs name. It is the white devil christian slavemasterʻs name.
I read it anyway.
I got to the second page of the second chapter and I couldnʻt take anymore.
I put it in my campfire fuel bag.
Cooked my dinner over it.
Iʻm reading the RZAs book. It is pretty good. Talks about The NGE a lot and he erroneously said he came to America by himself. He Did Not.
But it reminded me of something that because it was kind of ambiguously written I let it slide in the Future Hero book.
The author mentioned that his parents had come to America like they just relocated or something.
I know that the original of us were tricked into willingly boarding the boat that was to take us into enslavement in the West.
But it is misleading as far as the brutality that was involved. It belittles the horrors that encompassed the Institution of Slavery.
So yeah, I just wanted to clear that up.
The RZA is funny. My homeboy used to make mockery of how he raps. Like R, stick to beats. You and Dre. Excellent behind the boards but not on the m.i.c. Some DJs can get in front like Quik, Caz, and thatʻs all I can think of right now but everybody cannot rap. Everybody WANTS to rap but everybody cannot.
I also wanted to mention something I realiized about our Brother Jesus.
His people were colonized and enslaved just like Mosesʻ people and Our People and all Black People on the Earth.
Jesus, Moses and Our Beloved Messenger (Peace Be Upon Them) were sent with the message of ISLAM to wake their people up to the KNOWLEDGE of their oppressors and enslavers.
Their people were born under the slavemaster and so didnʻt know any other way of life to the slavemasterʻs delight.
Jesus, Moses and Our Beloved Messengerʻs God WANTS to free us from the devil caucasians and give us our own.
Jesus was tortured and killed.
Moses got his people away from their murderers.
Our Beloved Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) delivered his message. You can accept it or reject it.
But RZA is a good example of His Teachings in DEED.
They got him out of the projects.
