DO NOT EAT FORBIDDEN FOOD

     The importance of enjoying good health is obeying the teachings of God (Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever), and that is eating one meal once every 24 hours (one meal a day).

IT IS NOT SO much eating various kinds of food as it is not eating food of any kind too often.  Of course, we know the divinely prohibited flesh of the swine is totally forbidden not only to eat, but we are even forbidden to touch or handle the swine.  It is punishable under the Law of God to eat the swine.

Many of the readers may think that it is all right with God for them to do as they please about His Laws, but we are punished for willfully disobeying the Laws of God, regardless how little the offense may be or how great it may be.

The Christians have been eating the swine for four thousand years. Now, their punishment is total destruction by fire.

THE WHITE RACE was not made to obey the divine law. They were made to oppose it, therefore following after them and doing what they do is getting you the hell. It is no excuse for you. The average so-called Negro thinks it is all right for him to do evil too. But, we are two different people. The so-called American Negro is a divine member lost from the divine circle, while the slave master, who has been his teacher, is an enemy to God, by nature. This is why the Bible teaches you that hell was created for them the day they were made.

Meat will not prolong our lives – it will cut life short. The white race lives on this type of food, meat – animal flesh. The carnivorous beasts and birds who live off of flesh and eat others, have short lives.

VEGETABLES, MILK AND BUTTER are the right foods to eat, when they are pure. But my Dear Brothers and Sisters, do not think that you are getting pure products now from the dairy. Substitutions are added to butter, and much water is added to the milk.

So, do not practice the evil things that the white race is doing, as you are following them now. If they pull off their clothes, you will pull off yours. Do not think you have an option of doing divine law, while you do not. A doom is set for the whole race of them and you will share their doom with them, if you follow eating and drinking intoxicating drinks just because you see them doing such things and going nude in the public (women with dresses above their knees and men wearing just trunks in public).

YOU ARE FOLLOWING one of the filthiest things that even an animal wouldn’t follow, by doing such things. White people do this to tempt you to do the same so that you can share hell fire with them.

Eat one meal a day and eat good food.

Our Beloved Messenger, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah forever be upon him) taught us in the only book that correctly teaches us how to eat (HOW TO EAT TO LIVE, BOOK 2) that “No meat is good for you except that little, young pigeon that has never flown from its nest, called Squab. Squab is the only meat on the planet Earth that is fit for us to take as a food.

Truthfully, I had never even HEARD of Squab before reading this epic book. I thought it was just slang for “fight.” Feel me? LOL You probably didn’t know it was a food either (unless you are intelligent enough to have read this book). 🙂

But, I do know that rich white people eat it. Here is a picture of Squab from the “Titanic” menu.

I also wrote in my other post that they serve it at the million-dollar, super-exclusive, U.S. Presidents-are-members, Jonathan Club too. So, I thought, maybe I should give this distinguished meat a second look.

I mean, I knew the Messenger (PBUH) said it is the only meat that is okay for us to eat, but because I had never seen it, I just became a pescatarian and didn’t worry about it.

But for those of you who really like meat, I wanted to give you some reasons why you should choose Squab over any other type of meat.

Whenever I begin a blog, I always look for visuals FIRST. It gives me a better knowledge and puts me in the mood to write. I always want to SHOW and PROVE what I’m talking about and “A picture paints a thousand words.”

If I told you, “The Squab is ugly,” I would be making the understatement of the year. The Squab is hideous. However, I WAS able to find some pretty decent pictures.

But I have to mention that the first pictures I saw were of whole squab roasted with the heads still attached to the rest of the body. IKR? It looked so gross. I’m getting nauseous just thinking about it. You can Google that yourself. I’m straight.

But I also found this cool book that was written in 1902!!!

 “How to make a pigeon and squab business pay, details of building, buying, habits of birds, mating, watering, feeding, killing, cooling, marketing, shipping, curing ailments, etc.”

You can’t go wrong with old stuff. And Squab is definitely something old – in America, anyway. The Messenger (PBUH) taught us that when he went to Egypt, he saw TRUCKLOADS of Squab headed to the market for laymen and women to enjoy.

But, here in the good (and terrible) U. S. of A., they don’t eat it anymore. I’ve NEVER seen it in the stores. Most people have never even heard of it. AND I looked online to buy it and they cost about $20 for ONE!!!

I’m going to try it before I die, In Sha Allah, but I’ve been pescatarian too long to really crave land flesh enough to break off that kinda bread.

Anyway, here’s what I learned about the little Squab.

I think these are breeders because they look kinda old. I just posted it because the picture reads “perfect,” but true squab have never flown from the nest.

I think this is a little more accurate. The squab appear to be very small. The average size is about 12 ounces.

This description is from a website that sells them.

“Squab meat is dark meat, The Squab meat is very lean, easily digestible, and Squab is rich in proteins, minerals, and vitamins. Squab meat has silky texture, as it is very tender and fine-grained. It has a milder taste than other game animals and birds.

“Squab meats are succulent, tender, flavorsome and delicious.

“Squab are healthy low cholesterol, high protein, free range and natural.” 

I edited it a little bit to keep it from sounding so commercial. I’m not advertising nothing unless I get a piece. Knawmean?

I’m going to buy The National Standard Squab Book, raise them (when Allah Blesses me to find some for sale) and offer them to my beautiful Black People when I open my restaurant. I know Allah will be pleased and BLESS me ABUNDANTLY. 🙂

Here is some more positive information about “Squabs” I found on a distributor’s website.

AS-SALAAMU ‘ALAIKUM SWEET BEAUTIFUL ASIATIC SISTERS,

I had such a beautiful good time today touring my Beloved City of Angels. I never get bored going Downtown. It’s so different from twenty-five years ago when my hubby used to take me out to lunch on my break from work at Robinson’s. It seems like a lifetime ago, but I can still taste that sweet, sweet un-carbonated soda at the restaurant where we used to eat, which is now a subway station. I NEVER dreamed my city would actually have a SUBWAY one day, way back then. Downtown Los Angeles has changed almost as much as I have.

As I was playing in the elevators at the Bonaventure Hotel, I took some pictures. The elevators are on the outside of the building and you can see for miles. I instinctively, pushed the button for the top floor, 32 stories high, and felt like I could see forever.

and it’s so crazy because my hubby took pictures from atop a high-rise today but overlooking the ocean in Santa Monica at Sunset – The Golden Time of Day….

I had to photojack him. I love doing what I want. I love walking downtown. There’s so much to see and I like being seen. When people see me, they know that God Has Visited America and she is about to be destroyed. I know no one has ever seen an M.G.T. in her Holy Garments just downtown shopping. I’m like that. Al Hamdulillah (All Praises Are Due To Allah)

I also like looking at all the sights and I am amazed at how many tourists are downtown now! A lot of people are moving to L.A. too. I met a Brother from Detroit. I let him take my picture. He’s supposed to e-mail it to me. I guess he’ll do it when he has a chance. He showed me the picture. I had up my L.A. hand symbol. REPRESENTIN’.

Anyway, when I left the Bonaventure, I was walking down Figueroa and I passed a beautiful door on an unmarked building. I noticed it, but kept walking, only turning back around to get another look before it was too late to go back. When Allah Said, “Go in,” I thought “Nah.”

Sometimes, it’s scary going into unfamiliar buildings. But I love doing stuff like that, just for the hell of it. I felt like that going into the Bonaventure, but I love that sense of Adventure; Never knowing what to expect.

So, I went back to the building and tried the door. It opened and I walked into the most beautiful building I had ever been in in all my life. I looked around my surroundings agape and in utter amazement at the elegant beauty beholden to me.

The foyer was so welcoming I went on in. There was a distinguished looking devil sitting behind a desk with a desk plate that read something I can’t remember and “Concierge.” I had just seen a woman behind a desk with the same wording at the Bonaventure and started to look it up then, but Allah stopped me.

Now, I am familiar with the word and I knew it had something to do with hotels. I assumed it is some kind of Information Desk or Hospitality Services or both. But this didn’t look like ANY of the hotels I had ever been in, and I’ve been in a lot (I was on the Prom Committee in High School and we visited probably every major hotel in L.A. trying to decide on a location to hold our Senior Prom. We unanimously chose “The Biltmore” which is where the Democratic Convention is held and which was one hundred times more beautiful than ANY of the other hotels and IT wasn’t half as nice as this amazing piece of property I had entered).  And so, I was overwhelmed by a VERY unfamiliar but piquant feeling all over my body; being completely befuddled as to what type of delightful establishment I had just stumbled into. It was thrilling.

Now, this devil didn’t even look up as I walked in and if I had had a little more gumption, I would have walked right past him and on into the building, but my gumption apparently ran out upon entering the building, so I stopped and interrogated him.

“What’s a ‘concierge’?”

I don’t even remember his reply, he was so annoyed by the question. I didn’t let that deter me. I felt like some of my more unrefined Brothers and Sisters, asking inappropriate questions. But, how else would I find out what I needed to know about this magnificent specimen of a building?

I finally found out it was a private club named “The Jonathan Club.” It was like pulling teeth, just to get that bit of information out of his stingy devilish self. But I have a Degree in Journalism and I am exceptional at “pulling teeth” when I need information. Of course, I’m thinking, “Who is Jonathan?” But I didn’t ask for some reason. Instead, I asked how much is a membership.

He said he couldn’t tell me.

Now, I had no intention of joining any type of devil social club and associating with my open enemies willingly, I don’t care how nice the facilities were. But I was and am still curious as to the price tag to join such an exclusive club, so I pushed my luck a little further and asked, “What if I want to join?”

He told me bluntly, “A member has to recommend you.”

I refrained from asking if there were any Black members. I think deep down, I didn’t really want to think about Black people socializing with devils willingly and paying to do so.

But I looked at the desk for some kind of literature, ANY TYPE OF LITERATURE, about the club, and found none. There was only a pamphlet on the dress code, a flier about an upcoming event at the “Beach Club” and little business cards informing members where in the club cellular phones and whatnot could be used.

Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY impressed.

I left the building and looked again at the exterior.

There was absolutely no signage. I crossed the street to get a better look at the entire building. I could see there was a patio on the roof.

So, I went on walking and tried to find another building that could compare. There were some nice ones but NONE half as nice as The Jonathan Club. I just looked on Wikipedia and found out who “Jonathan” was.

“The club was at one time believed to be named after Jonathan Trombull, advisor to George Washington. But historical evidence states that the club was named after Brother Jonathan, the caricature predecessor to Uncle Sam.”

I feel like my little detour is somehow, pulling me into politics. I used to say, the first thing I would do as president, was something that unfortunately, has already been done, if you know what I mean.

Now, I would designate four states for The So-called Negroes, California, New York, Florida and a third, I haven’t decided yet.

On the bus ride home, I read the pamphlet on the dress code.

Jonathan Club Dress Code

It is exactly how I have been dressing my son since I converted to Islam. Islam cleans you up and makes you respectable and decent and intelligent enough to be welcomed into the most civilized societies.

Here is a little history about the Jonathan Club: It was started in 1914 by a group of rich devils organized to choose and support (financially) whom they wanted to run the city. Kind of like a political action committee, but probably much more influential. Former President, Ronald Reagan was a member. The website also relates the story of two “Jonathans” (members) who came up with the idea of THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT LOS ANGELES (UCLA) one day at the club over lunch! Later the members decided they would rather just get together and socialize. So they built this big beautiful building downtown and another one on Santa Monica beach for themselves and their families and friends like “Bosses.”

The club was included on the Platinum Club list of John Sibbald Associates in 2012 as one of the top five city clubs in the country!

The concierge was so constipated with the information that I hardly thought they would have a public website. They do. It even says you can send an e-mail if you want to inquire about a membership. That’s probably just de jure (for appearances) though.

I am not hardly interested in joining the club. I have no desire nor inclination to socialize with my open enemies, even if the place had solid 24 KARAT gold walls. Although, I am almost importunately curious enough to send an e-mail just to learn how much it costs.

Oh, how I wish my people could unite and do something for self of this magnitude. Those of us who can afford to join would rather be a part of the devils’ club than build our own club. It is so sad the poison that the devil has put in our people. It permeates all sectors of our Nation. We are united only in our love of our enemies. 😦

I bear witness to Black men of every income bracket, every religion, every skill, trade or profession and of every age and complexion sweethearting with devil women. The same goes for Black women. I wish so strongly that my people would wake up! It seems that after all the hell they put our ancestors and us through, we would hate them and want to kill them for mistreating us!

If we had done half the evil to them that they do to us, they wouldn’t even speak to us.

The Messenger (PBUH) taught us that it’s like a frog wanting to marry a rattlesnake because the rattlesnake is so full of frogs, he can’t eat another one. So the foolish frog says to the rattlesnake, “Marry me then.

This is how crazy we look in the eyes of the civilized world. Completely Blind, Deaf and Dumb and Mentally Dead to the Knowledge of Self and Anyone Else.

But In Sha Allah (If it Pleases Allah), I am going to open the fanciest restaurant for my people that they have ever seen. And if any devils come in I am going to treat them so that they never come back and that they tell their devil friends, mine was the WORST restaurant in which they have ever been. That goes for Black People who bring devils too.

I am going to help my Brothers and Sisters attain some measure of civilization by requiring and maintaining the same dress code as the Jonathan Club and with alacrity, serve them the best and healthiest food on the earth at reasonable prices that they can afford. The Jonathan Club is going to look like a tree clubhouse in comparison.

And I am going to use it as a venue to teach them the TRUTH, In Sha Allah.

I almost forgot. SMH. I found a menu from the Jonathan Club, back in its early days, on Google and as I perused the items on it, I was flabbergasted.

The first thing I noticed was that the choice piece of meat was LAMB –
NOT ANY TYPE OF BEEF NOR PORK.

Our Beloved Messenger (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah Forever Be Upon Him) taught us in HOW TO EAT TO LIVE that LAMB is a better meat than beef because sheep are more selective in what they eat and they are not as easily diseased as cows (Does “Mad Cow Disease” sound familiar?) And of course the filthy swine carries a live poison (trichinae) so that its flesh should not even be touched (Bible Deuteronomy 14:8) not to think of eating it!

But this was the ONLY type of meat (poison) fed to and still eaten today by their slaves (the so-called Negroes).

I kept reading the menu and was floored when I read “SQUAB” further down. You probably don’t even know what squab is, but again, Our Beloved Messenger (PBUH) taught us in HOW TO EAT TO LIVE that “No meat is good for us except that little young pigeon, called SQUAB.”

The devils don’t even offer it in any grocery stores I have ever been in, (and Grocery Stores are my passion) but yet at their own million dollar club its on the menu. THEY KNOW WHAT FOOD IS GOOD TO EAT. You don’t see any pork anywhere on the menu. Not even BEEF! No, not for the wealthy. FISH, LAMB and SQUAB. All of the foods recommended by The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) for us to eat. Maybe you will believe and follow his Teachings now that you see the devil subscribes to the same way of eating. SMH

This is the inside of the front door, but when I entered there was a high table right inside the front door. This table was covered with a gigantic arrangement of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. There were orchids in it! I specialize in flowers and I HAVE NEVER SEEN ORCHIDS AS PART OF A FLORAL ARRANGEMENT. They are always sold individually.

I didn’t see one T.V. in the building, nor in any of the scores of pictures I saw on Google. No one talking on cel phones nor sitting in solitude engrossed in a laptop. I DID however, see a young group of sharply dressed devils in business suits coming in laughing and talking and enjoying each others company.

Incidentally, there is a BROOKS BROTHERS built into the building.
I found Hakim a pair of Brooks Brothers chinos at Goodwill once. I examined them meticulously. They were the most finely-crafted pair of pants I had ever held in my hands.

The club seems to pride itself on the camaraderie of its members, sponsoring regular social events and activities, encouraging fellowship. What I’m still not sure of is whether or not the club is comprised of members from all over the country or primarily Angelenos. I get the impression that they are mostly Angelenos, considering how the club was organized. But members are allowed to bring guests, so maybe the guests lodge in the rooms.

This is the view from one of the rooms. I’m going to feel so self-conscious (maybe 😉 ) when I’m walking downtown. There are a lot of tall buildings downtown, and it just dawned on me that there are people in these buildings! I don’t know how many people can see me in my garments. But, I’m starting to feel very popular! And if not popular, then definitely, conspicuous. 🙂

I think a lot of the “Jonathans” are military personnel, which is not surprising, considering they’re all devils. But also because the dress code allows for military uniforms. I saw a picture of some kind of planning meeting by military personnel being held in the room in the above uppermost picture with the flags. And these two look like Mortimer and his brother from “Trading Places.” :/

I’ve seen a lot of pictures from weddings held at the JC, probably members, but there is a contact number on the website. I used to want to get married at Union Station. #notanymore

This is the ONLY picture I could find of the “Wellness” area of the club. But according to the Dress Code, there are workout facilities as well.

All of these pictures are from the “Town Club” located in Downtown Los Angeles. However, as I mentioned earlier, there is also a “Beach Club” which is in Santa Monica.

It’s so funny because I was in DTLA (Downtown Los Angeles) taking pictures from high above the city, while at the same time, my hubby was in Santa Monica taking pictures from high above the city and The Jonathan Club’s two locations are in DTLA and Santa Monica. And it just so happens that I went into the building today of all days. This type of “coincidence” confirms that I am on THE RIGHT PATH  (Al Sirataal Mustaqeem in Arabic) Al Hamdulillah!

The “Beach Club” has a dress code that is also listed on the brochure link above. It’s a little more relaxed but still does not allow for “street clothes” (t-shirts and sneakers).

BRING BACK THE BEACH

I love the Beach and Santa Monica is particularly beautiful, especially for visitors to L.A. I envision some day having a place like this for my people. With separate pools and beaches for men and for women, of course.

It is amazing how a small detour from my destination, completely changed my view and opened my eyes to the endless possibilities which are completely attainable for the one who is willing to go out and get it. All you have to do is SUBMIT TO THE WILL OF ALLAH, do the work and He will bless you with infinite success!

I hope I have shared with you something to inspire you to do something for self like our Beloved Messenger (PBUH) implored us to.

I was doing some shopping today and I looked at the Jonathan Club. Their logo was on the awnings! At first, I thought I was tripping and missed them when I was there before. But I Distinctly remember looking at the entire building and there were no markings to indicate the nature of the building ANYWHERE. But today, the logo was on ALL of the awnings. I don’t know what they’re up to after all of these years with no signage, but I do not trust those devils.

Then, guess what I saw later driving toward The Jonathan Club?

That is the same logo that is on the awnings. And today, I saw a devil and Allah told me he was rich. He didn’t look any different than any of the other devils downtown. But you can’t tell with the devil. They are not like we are. Wearing all of our money. I trust in Allah. They are probably going to try and invite me to join so I can go to their doom with them. I’m going to say, “Get Behind Me Satan!!!” And rebuke him.

LIVE LONG

     What fool is there who does not want to live? Do not even ask a wise person; consult a fool.  Even a fool wants to live as long as he can. Well, eat right – one meal a day – and be careful what you eat.  The wicked are practicing their wicked way of poisoning the righteous in their preparation for food and drink so be careful what you eat to live.

The Christian race has shortened the lives of nations which follow its way of civilization.  The so-called American Negroes – the lost and found members of the nation (the Black nation) the first and the last – have been used for experimental purposes.  They have suffered every evil thing or idea that entered the heart of the slavemaster and his children.  This is going on today, as never before in a wise and scientific way.

Before the white man was made, the Black man was known to live approximately a thousand years.  He ate the right food and ate it at the right time.

Our stomachs are what we make them.  If they call for food every two or three hours, we make a habit of feeding them every two or three hours.   If we don’t make a habit of feeding our stomachs every two or three hours, they will not call for it.  We are the God of our own appetite and what we eat.

Remember the prophecy of Jesus: He came to give us life and more life abundantly. He cannot give us more life if we will not protect our life against its enemies.

DO NOT try to eat so many different things.  One or two good things are all right, even just milk and bread – but it has been tampered with.   It is hard to get a pure glass of milk.  It is hard to get a pure piece of whole wheat bread.

They tamper with everything, without any just cause.  So, do the best you can and eat one meal a day. You will live longer.

Eat one meal once every twenty-four (24) hours and eat the right food.

Get away from eating a lot of greasy foods and eat more vegetables and fruits.

Do not eat freshly-baked bread or freshly-baked cakes.

LENGTHEN YOUR LIFE

     In order to lengthen our lives, we must begin with what we put in us that retains life. Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, comes to prolong the lives of the believers.

THERE IS NOT a shadow of a doubt that He (Allah) has taken the proper steps to give us more life in order to have and enjoy the pleasures of life.

He (Allah) said what we eat keeps us here, and the same will take us away. Suppose we ate one-half pound of food a day. At the end of 365 days, we would have eaten 182 1/2 pounds of food per year.

BUT WE EAT more than this amount. For instance, if we live 50 years, we would eat 50 times this much food, at a half pound of food a day.

If we saw 9,000 pounds of raw food piled up before us to consume, we would think that this would be a lot of food to go through our bodies. And we would think that it probably would wear us out to eat that much food in our life time, although we eat tons of food in our life time.

AND IF THIS food is not the proper food to eat, it will wear away our body and cut short three score and 10 years of our lives.

On the average, our people are living around 62 years. This is a very short life to live on an earth that has been here trillions of years. And yet, the average of us cannot live 100 years under the present system of civilization of wickedness.

Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, Comes to prolong our lives, not to shorten them, by correcting our eating habits to one meal a day instead of three, and by teaching us to eat the proper foods that will not destroy us or shorten our lives to less than 100 years.

His (Allah’s) teaching us to eat better food and to cut our eating from three and four times a day to once a day will certainly prolong our lives and increase our beautiful appearance.

A PERSON WHO eats like an animal – three or four times a day and all between meals – cannot retain a beautiful appearance. Eating three times a day and all between meals removes the body’s attractiveness in many ways.

We eat meat, but yet meat is not good for us. It becomes a habitual tool. This type of food poisons the blood and goes into the flesh and cannot help but transform and destroy the surface of the flesh.

TAKE, FOR example, a new born baby. Many times its beauty lasts for just a short while and then passes away with its growth. Even in our late twenties and early thirties – because of the life that we live and the frequent eating of poison food – our beautiful appearance begins to pass from us so rapidly, until by our forties and fifties it is nearly completely gone.

Let us eat one meal a day and try getting the best food that we can to eat – vegetables, fruits, pure fresh milk, and pure whole wheat bread, that has been cooked slowly, twice. Doing this will help us to live longer and retain our beautiful appearance much longer.

DO NOT GET into the habit (or if you are already in the habit, stop it) of eating a lot of greasy foods. Regardless of whether the grease is from animal flesh or not, our bodies, by nature, are not made to digest and control grease or lots of fat.

Thousands of minor ailments disappear from us by eating the proper food and at the proper time – one meal a day. He (Allah) teaches us never to eat unless we are hungry. Eating when we are not hungry causes these minor ailments. We are forcing the body to digest food before it is calling for this food.

TAKE THE hog and the dog – they do not live very long, because they eat daily and nightly.

The present civilization is an enemy to righteousness. Since they were put over us to rule us, they had to find a different way of ruling us other than the good old way of our fathers, who lived several hundreds of years – some nearly a thousand years.

IF WE MET a man today who said he had been on the planet 500 years, we would think that he was lying, because our short lives of less than 100 years, lead us to believe that it is false to think that people can live several hundred years.

It is all in the food and drink that we put into our bodies that lengthens or shortens our lives. Stay away from poison food and drinks – and eat to live.

HOW TO KEEP FOOD FROM HURTING US

      I thank Allah in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, for bringing to us life and light so that we may be able to enjoy life, and to enjoy that life longer than we have previously enjoyed it.

     Many years could be added to our lives if we only knew how to protect our lives from their enemies. As He (meaning Master Fard Muhammad) said to me, food keeps us here; it is essential that we eat food which gives and maintains life. That same food destroys life. Therefore, to keep this food from destroying our lives, we must protect our lives as well as we possibly can from the destruction of food. If we eat the proper food, and eat at the proper time, the food will keep us living a long, long time.

     Eating three and four times a day is to your stomach as dripping water is to a stone or iron. The dripping water will eventually wear the stone and iron away. But, just to look at the water, it does not appear powerful enough in its dripping to wear the stone and iron away. It is the same with food; we continuously put it into our stomachs to be digested and eventually it will destroy the stomach. If we let our stomachs rest a while and gain strength, they will last longer in doing a job of digesting food for us.

EAT ONE MEAL a day and eat the food that will not harm you so quickly. You do not have to go into a long detailed knowledge of what foods you have to eat, because the wrong food has already been pointed out to you-foods such as pig, nuts, white flour, meats (of course, we eat some meats), the wrong kind of peas, the wrong kinds of breads, half-cooked breads, too many starchy foods, and too much sweets.

All of these foods destroy us. Bread should be cooked thoroughly and slowly, and if you have plenty of time, cook the bread two or three times and then eat it. Meat should also be cooked two or three times.

Eating great meals of highly seasoned and sugared pastries is definitely not good for us. They most surely will take years of our lives away. You may eat some sweets, but do not make an entire meal of sweets and eat them everyday. Fruit is good for us; we should eat plenty fruits.

To live a long time, eat once every 24 hours or once every 48 hours, if you are able to do so. But, if you have heavy, manual work to do, do not try to eat once every two or three days. And, if you eat once a day, you should fast every month for two or three days. By doing that, there will be no poison left in the body at the end of a year to make you sick even one hour.

I WOULD LIKE for you, who try to live and eat just as this book teaches you, to please send me a letter telling me of the results that you have gained from eating like this article teaches you. I repeatedly teach that the way Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, has Taught us to eat will do away with many doctor bills and do away with much maiming of the limbs caused by certain diseases.

Sugar diabetes can be controlled and cured if you only eat right. Stay off of sugar and starchy foods and leave those old, white potatoes alone. Do not eat spaghetti and macaroni at every meal. If you are overweight, do not eat it at any meal, and if you want to live a long time, do not eat it at any meal. Food such as spaghetti and macaroni is processed, not cooked thoroughly, and is hard to digest.

THERE ARE SOME people who claim that they do not receive beneficial results as they should. This is due to wrong mental food that they are eating, which has an effect on their digestive system. To get good results from eating the proper foods, we must have good thoughts.

 

 

GRILLED BALSAMIC AND ROSEMARY SALMON

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Asiatic Black Sisters!

A while ago I bought some Balsamic Vinegar for an Asparagus dish that turned out to be really delish. (Hey! I’m a poet! I know it. 😉 ) Anyway, I really love vinegar, so for this week’s meal, I wanted to try using the Balsamic as a marinade for some Salmon I plan on barbecuing.

As I have previously written, a vegetarian diet is perfect for human beings, although we can eat fish. Fish is from a different world of life. Fish is born and fish lives in the water of life. Fish is good for us. (HOW TO EAT TO LIVE). However, we must be careful when selecting fish for our meals, confining our fish eating to those fish weighing between one and ten pounds.

When it comes to Salmon, there are many different varieties that vary in weight depending on the species. According to the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute, Pink Salmon weighs the least of all varieties, averaging 3.5 – 4.0 lbs. So this would, obviously, be our ideal choice. Our Beloved Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) recommended that we eat the smallest fish as possible.

There are other varieties of Salmon averaging less than ten pounds as well, however. Alaska Sockeye (Red) Salmon averages five lbs. and Alaska Keta Salmon averages eight lbs.

The species you want to avoid are Alaska Coho (Silver) Salmon which averages twelve lbs. and the largest breed, Alaska King Salmon, which averages 20 lbs.!

When dining out, be sure to inquire as to the breed of Salmon before ordering as King Salmon is the Salmon of choice for many upscale restaurants.

I found this recipe online for a Salmon marinade and I had all the ingredients (except the rosemary; substituting Italian Seasonings). I was thinking about trying the exact same thing, but wasn’t sure about how it would turn out, and I didn’t want to risk it coming out weird. So finding this recipe confirmed my aspirations.

GRILLED BALSAMIC AND ROSEMARY SALMON

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Salmon filets
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig fresh Rosemary, minced

Directions

  1. Season Salmon filets to taste with salt, and place in a shallow, glass dish. Whisk together Vinegar, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Garlic and Rosemary; pour over Salmon filets. Cover, and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly butter grate.
  3. Remove Salmon from marinade, and shake off excess. Discard remaining marinade. Cook on preheated grill until fish is opaque in the center and flakes easily with a fork, about 4 minutes per side.

I only used three filets but I kept the measurements the same, with the addition of an extra Garlic clove. (I really like Garlic). I also slice a clove and placed on top of the filets.

In Sha Allah (If It Pleases Allah), I’m going to accompany the Salmon with a side of grilled mushroom/onion/bell pepper Kebabs and maybe the delish Asparagus dish.  Of course, we’re having Bean Soup and Honey Whole-Wheat Bread, as always. For dessert, Semifreddo.

OMG Sisters, this was the BEST Salmon I have ever had. I already preferred barbecued Salmon, but with the marinade (I let it set for about three hours) it was so succulent and savory. I was so proud of myself – AM so proud of myself. I’ve never been much of a cook, but being an M.G.T. has made my culinary skills comparable with the best of cooks, the ones that I know personally anyway.

The kebabs were equally good, especially the MUSHROOMS. I coated them with my homemade butter and a little salt. I nearly burned them, but the juicy flavor just bursts into your mouth, and all I can say is DELISH!

I don’t know what it is about NUTMEG that is so fascinating. It could be its distinctive, flavorful and feel-good taste but ever since I first learned to distinguish it from cinnamon, I have been an ardent admirer of its aroma and flavor.

This occurred during my “long vacation” back in 1999. We were served Cream of Wheat that was flavored with a spice that I unknowingly mistook for cinnamon. One of the other inmates voiced my inner voice, but was immediately corrected by another Sister, whose name escapes me, that the delightful addition to our breakfast cereal was, in fact, NUTMEG. Only then did I realize that the flavor was not cinnamon as I had previously thought. Ever since then I have enjoyed a fanciful relationship with this intriguing and inciteful spice.

The reason I use the term “inciteful” is because throughout history, NUTMEG has been treasured as a precious commodity and even the Primary cause for dreadful and bloody Wars resulting in the massacre of tens of thousands of original people at the hands of the merciless devils.

Nutmeg is the interior portion of a seed from the fruit of an evergreen tree that is indigenous to the Maluku (Spice) Islands of Indonesia. The scientific name for the most common type of Nutmeg producing tree is Myristica fragrans. This tree is the ONLY plant that produces two different spices: NUTMEG and MACE.

Mace is a spice that is similar to Nutmeg but according to what I’ve read, (I’ve never tasted it) Mace is more pungent and spicier. I’ve never seen it in stores but I did find it online and was flabbergasted by the costliness. If I ever happen upon the opportunity to sample it, I think it would be interesting to compare the two (Nutmeg and Mace).

In any case, MACE is the waxy red spiny covering (aril) of the Nutmeg seed as illustrated in the picture above. It is flattened, dried and sold either in its solid form or ground. Typically used in cooking, as would Nutmeg be used.

NUTMEG is one of the spices popularized and prized during the lucrative spice trade dating as far back as 3000 B.C. For many thousands of years, the source of these delicacies was kept as a secret among the exclusively Arabian traders.

However, in 1511, the Portuguese explorer, Alfonse de Albuquerque overpowered the Maluku Islands and extracted from the citizens the knowledge that the Banda Islands were the producers of the spices that were so prized in Europe and other places. Over the next century the Portuguese sought to control the Islands but were unsuccessful and contented themselves with trading directly with the Malukans. They were, however, able to infiltrate the spice trade ending the Arabian traders monopoly on supplying the commodities to other regions.

In 1595, the Dutch trailed the Portuguese to Indonesia also “discovering” the Spice Islands. But unable to trade their unwanted and impractical goods (thick woolen clothing and damask cloth, completely unsuitable for tropical climates), they sought to dominate Nutmeg productivity and set about gaining control over the entire area.

Using trade as a covert operation, they established the Dutch East Indies Trading Company, and killed 14,000 of the 15,000 indigenous inhabitants of the land and completely colonized the Spice Islands in 1611. The remaining diminished population of only 1,000 Original People, the devils spared only to make them their slaves, cultivating and harvesting the natural resources of their own homeland for the devil oppressors.

The British controlled one small insignificant Island in the Malukas. However, in 1667, at the end of the Second Anglo-Dutch War, they traded it, in exchange for a tiny, useless Dutch controlled island in the Americas, called New Amsterdam (eventually renamed Manhattan!) bringing the Dutch’s monopoly on the Spice Trade to completion.

For a century and a half, The Dutch enjoyed complete autonomy in the exclusive business of trading spices, maintaining exorbitant prices which only the very affluent could afford to pay. Under Dutch control, Nutmeg was a valued culinary accoutrement only accessible to the wealthy.

During this period, The Dutch enforced strict prohibitions on Nutmeg seed distribution, limiting production of the Nutmeg bearing tree to this single area of our Planet. The Dutch went through great pains to contain the production area, including destroying trees that grew as a result of fruit birds spreading the seeds to other islands.

In 1769, during the Napoleonic Wars, the British took advantage of the opportunity to seize the Maluka Islands and for a brief period of four years gained control of the coveted Spice Islands. At the end of the Wars, The First Treaty of Paris returned the Islands to the Dutch, however, their proverbial cat had been let out the bag. During the British dominance, Nutmeg seeds were planted in other areas under British control, including the tiny Caribbean Island of Grenada, the exclusive Nutmeg provider to the United States.

Nutmeg production in Grenada is so pivotal to trade with America that when the small Island revolutionized their government to Socialism and nationalize the nutmeg producing farms, America invaded the tiny island, ostensibly to thwart the spread of communism but also to retain their sway over nutmeg production and distribution.
