As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved Black Sisters!!!!

Sisters, as the keepers of the house, we have very little down time. Right? However, we can use the time that we spend keeping house in a relaxing and therapeutic manner. I have found that attending to my household chores is very private and allows me the opportunity to ponder some of the things that are going on in my life that I may not otherwise have time to think about.

While, I’m doing laundry, I listen to music, light some incense and lose myself in the soothing, soapy water, immersing my hands in the warmth and I let go of everything that may be on my mind. I can sort out my thoughts rationally without disturbances and outside influences. I can commune with my Creator, Allah, in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, thanking Him for my husband and all of the blessings in my life; I can review in my mind other tasks that need completion; consider the best way to accomplish these tasks; and just be at peace.

When I knead the dough for my bread, I am exercising a physical activity that also is a stress reliever. If I have any pent-up emotions, I can release my tension through a productive, yet effective mechanism. Music, or soothing sounds such as the ones in the video, help calm me and make my household duties even more enjoyable.

Everybody knows that cleaning is much less arduous while listening to some good music. Our ancestors sang while they were forced to labour under hard taskmasters in order to comfort themselves and make their burdens easier to bear.

I listen to different things depending on my mood.

Recently, I bought a “Rain-Stick,” after listening to a song that featured it at the very end. It immediately reminded me of listening to the sound in my youth and prompted me to go out and buy my own. I remembered making them in school and the feeling of relaxation was rekindled after revisiting it in this particular song.

That sense of relaxation piqued a need in me for more tools and techniques that would bring about a similar sensation, which I will share with you, In Sha Allah (If it is the Will of Allah) in the future.

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Black Sisters (And Brothers 😉 )

Life involves growth and change and the more I live and learn about life, my views are constantly in a state of flux. I have come to accept the fact that however unacceptable it may seem to be, there are double standards when it comes to men and women. We need to just accept that fact. It is understandably more difficult for the Sisters because typically, the more favorable standard is generally in favor of the Brothers.

Brothers, you need to realize this and stop being “simps” and step up and be men. Stop saying stupid stuff like, “The Blackwoman is God” in deference of your responsibility. Stop saying you want your wife to work deflecting your responsibility as provider. Stop acting like women are your occupational equals, in a silly attempt to gain favor with your enemies who introduced this damaging idea.

As with anything in regards to gender, infidelity involves double standards as well. The husband is the head of the household, therefore he has the duty to control, provide for and protect his wife. If she strays, it is his duty to use any means to return her to her place as a respectable woman. This may include locking her in your bedroom, Brothers. Don’t shy away from your responsibility. Do whatever you have to do. If she persists in her indecent ways, you may be forced to give her a spanking. (Think Ricky and Lucy). Do not let her emasculate you, Brothers. BE MEN!

Your wife is obligated to submit to you. If she falls short in her duty, you must not fall in yours. Our families are suffering because of the poison that has been put in us by our enemies. We must return to traditional familial values if we ever expect to regain our place on top of civilization.

Sisters, our situation is different. Obviously, we cannot use force to control our husbands. They are physically more powerful than we are. Therefore, by necessity, we must use other means to return our husbands to their domestic responsibilities. Previously, my advice to the Sisters was overwhelmingly in favor of abandoning their husband if he was unfaithful. Now, I am convinced that that would not be the best decision.

If he strays, you must use your natural femininity that attracted him to you in the beginning to recapture his heart. Cry! Many times Brothers feel the need to test how much you care, especially if you have been married for a long time. Crying in front of him will let him know you still care and that you ain’t too proud to show him how much you love him.

Try a new look; a new hairdo and/or buy some new lingerie. Tell your children you plan to make a special dinner with his favorite meal and to give you some privacy. Dress the table and yourself as if you are dining at a fancy restaurant. Play some violins in the background.

And plan a really romantic evening where you make him feel worshipped like the God that he is.

Use your children to your advantage. Suggest a vacation or family outing. Remind him that his life is with you and your children and he is risking ruining your children’s lives.

Brothers are proud of their families. A good wife and mother is difficult to come by. Remind him of how ALLAH disapproves of adultery and the complications, confusion and awkwardness that result from divorce.

As always keep up your appearance as if you are going out even when you are staying in the house, i.e. keep your hair combed, use perfumed oils, wear jewelry, nice clothes, etc.  Shower him with affection. Convince him that there is no woman in the Universe better than you for him. Remind him why he married you in the first place.

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Black Sisters!

I’m sure we’ve all heard stories about women fighting over men. Some of you may have even been involved in fights over a man. I never could understand why a woman would beat up another woman for sweethearting with her husband.

This behaviour has baffled me since I was little and it still does to this day. I have seen women cut and KILLED over some married man. Sisters, we should show more love and respect for each other as well as the sanctity of marriage.

Why would a woman take her anger out on the other woman? This anger is misdirected. It is her husband with whom she should be angry. Whomever the other woman is is irrelevant. The problem is her husband.

Okay, let’s say she beats up the other woman, drives her off and the other woman agrees to never come back. Is that going to stop her husband from going to look for her? No! If the other woman breaks up with him, he’ll eventually find someone else to replace her and begin cheating on his wife again with some other woman. Clearly the problem lies somewhere within the marriage and if the wife does not recognize this, she will be getting into fights with every woman with whom her husband cheats until she wakes up and realizes that the other women are not the problem.

We have to use intelligence, Sisters. As with any problem, we must get to to the ROOT, which is the unfaithful husband.

I don’t know anything that can change a man but Islam. The Divine Supreme Wisdom Teachings of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah forever be upon him) dignifies the Blackman and gives him a sense of morality and self-respect that he never knew in Christianity. He knows Who the Real God is and he knows who HE is. This brings him dignity, increases his intelligence and a gives him a newfound love, respect, appreciation and concern for his Blackwoman.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

55:1 The Beneficent

55:2 Taught the Quran.

55:3 He created man,

55:4 Taught him expression.

55:5 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning,

55:6 And the herbs and the trees adore (Him).

55:7 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He set up the measure,

55:8 That you may not exceed the measure,

55:9 And keep up the balance with equity, nor fall short in the measure.

55:10 And the earth, He has set it for (His) creatures;

55:11 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters,

55:12 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance.

55:13 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

55:14 He created man from dry clay like earthen vessels,

55:15 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire.

55:16 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

55:17 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests.

55:18 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

55:19 He has made the two seas to flow freely — they meet:

55:20 Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass.

55:22 There come forth from them both, pearls large and small.

55:24 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains.

55:27 And there endures forever the person of thy Lord, the Lord of glory and honour.

55:29 All those in the heavens and the earth ask of Him. Every moment He is in a state (of glory).

55:31 Soon shall We apply Ourselves to you, O you two armies.

55:33 O assembly of jinn and men, if you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through. You cannot pass through but with authority.

55:34 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

55:35 The flames of fire and sparks of brass will be sent upon you, then you will not be able to defend yourselves.

55:36 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

55:37 So when the heaven is rent asunder, so it becomes red like red hide.

55:39 So on that day neither man nor jinni will be asked about his sin.

55:41 The guilty will be known by their marks, so they shall be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

HOMEMADE SUGAR SCRUB-A-DUB

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful Black Sisters!

I used to buy Sugar Scrub from Bath & Body Works, but I’ve been coming across Sisters selling it lately, and their skin looked so beautiful, I thought I would try making some.

I feel like I can make anything. You Can Too.

I Googled Homemade Sugar Scrub and a lot of different recipes popped up. I looked at a few, but the one that I liked the most was a simple recipe that just called for Brown Sugar and Olive Oil. That’s it.

I didn’t even look at how they made it. I just put some Brown Sugar in a little container and added some Olive Oil. I put a little Vitamin E in it as well. If you make it yourself, you can make it as thick or as thin as you desire. You also won’t have to worry about toxic chemicals that manufacturers add to everything. You know they (the devils) are trying to kill us.

I love the results on my face. And if I get a little in my mouth, it tastes SWEET!

You can use it all over your body. You can also add scents if you like, like Lavender or Orange or Both!

Brushing With Baking Soda and Peroxide

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Asiatic Black Queens!

Ask any Dentist and she will tell you that Baking Soda is the BEST product you can use to brush your teeth. Toothpaste has sugar and is much more expensive. So, you would be foolish to continue to spend money on toothpaste when baking soda is better AND cheaper!

If you ask any Dentist about using peroxide, she will tell you that it is excellent for oral care. If you ever have a sore throat, gargle with peroxide and it will eliminate the soreness. But peroxide is also known for whitening teeth.

Now, my Dentist told me to combine half water and half peroxide and rinse after I brush with the baking soda. Some people mix them together and make a paste. But I like doing it my way.

Now, I don’t know the chemistry but after brushing with baking soda, you have to rinse with the peroxide/water combination. It’s probably the pH, because if I don’t rinse with the peroxide/water, my mouth feels funny. I think the peroxide neutralizes the baking soda.

HELP SELF  BEFORE HELPING OTHERS

Many of my people, the so-called Negroes, say we should help the nations of Africa which are awakening. This has been said as if we owned America. We are so foolish! What part of America do you have that you can offer toward helping Africa? Who is independent, the nations of Africa or we? The best act would be to request the independent governments of Africa and Asia to help us. We are the ones who need help. We have little or nothing to offer as help to others. We should begin to help at home first.

We are 20 million strong. Many of the nations today that have their independence, and those who are getting their independence, are much smaller in number than my people in America. We are dependent on the slave-master. We do not have 2 feet of earth for our nation of people. You and I, here in America, are licking the boots of the slave-master, begging him for the right of independent people. Yes, we are licking his boots. “Sir, let me shine your shoes?” You have been doing that for approximately 400 hundred years. Today, if one rises up in your midst and says, “We should not lick the slave-master’s boots, we should lick our own boots,” you would say, “He should be killed! He should be killed because he is teaching us to hate.” My people, you are in a dangerous position. Get that fear out of you and stand up for your people! Who are you not to die for your people? Who am I not to die for my people! If I am shot down or cut down today, who is little Elijah Muhammad to 20 million of you! If a million of us throw ourselves in the fire for the benefit of the 20 million, the loss would be small compared to the great gain our people will make as a result of that sacrifice. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims gave their lives in Pakistan to get their nation’s independence. They were successful. The black men in Africa are fighting and dying today in unity for their independence.

We sit here like pampered babies. We cannot even stand on the floor, not to mention taking a chance of crawling out of the door. We are too careful of shedding blood for ourselves. We are willing to shed all of it for the benefit of others. I am not trying to get you to fight. That is not even necessary; our unity will win the battle! Not one of us will have to raise a sword. Not one gun would we need to fire. The great cannon that will be fired is our unity. Our unity is the best. Why are you afraid to unite? Why are you afraid to accept Allah and Islam?

It is only because the slave-master did not teach you of this! We must unite to ourselves as a nation of people.

Separation of the so-called Negroes from their slave-masters’ children is a MUST. It is the only solution to our problem.

You must know that this is the time of our separation and the judgement of this world (the Caucasian), which you and I have known. Therefore, Allah has said to me that the time is ripe for you and me to accept our own, the whole planet earth. Are you waiting for the Divine Destruction? Come! Let us reason together. First, in order for us to reason, you must have a thorough knowledge of self. Who is going to teach you that knowledge of self? Who are you waiting for to teach you the knowledge of self? Surely, not your slave-master, who blinded you to that knowledge of self. The slave-master will not teach you the knowledge of self, as there would not be a master-slave relationship any longer.

Message to the Blackman

CHAPTER 70

KNOWLEDGE OF PRAYER

Since learning of the prayer service of Islam — the religion of entire submission to the will of Allah — we see him now not only trying to keep his internal parts clean, but the external parts too. He washes his face, his hands, and all the exposed parts of his body before going to prayer. Never before has he done such under the cross (Christianity): prostrating himself with his shoes off and his forehead kissing the rug or the bare earth in praises and humble submission to the will of Allah (God).

He says again in the above prayer that he is thankful to Allah. He thanks Allah for the knowledge of words to say, to know Him to be the true God, to believe in and worship Him alone and not to set up a rival to Him.

No more is he ungrateful to God as he declares in the following words:  “We are not ungrateful to Thee.” He no longer befriends an enemy of Allah. While under the cross (Christianity) he befriended the enemies of God, thinking he was getting the favor or friendship of God by loving and befriending every creature whether of the righteous or the devils. In reading the above prayer, we find him forsaking the casting off the ones who do not obey Allah.

He is now in accord with the teachings of the Qur-an, the Holy Book of Allah, and in accord with the teaching of Jesus and the Prophets. We will not find any Believers in Allah (God) who will befriend and show friendship to the enemies and disbelievers of Allah, though they be their near of kin, says the Holy Qur-an. And the Qur-an (60:4) gives us an example in Abraham, who forsook his father and declared that enmity and hatred had appeared between them until he believed in Allah alone.

The Bible again puts it in Jesus’ words (Luke 14:26) as he says to the disciples that they must even hate their mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers or they could not be his followers. But here today in America, as you may know, the Christians teach that we should love everybody. This is just the deceitful way of the devils to get love and honor from the people of God under their religion (Christianity) that they organized in order to oppose the true religion of Allah, Islam.

He now further says and acknowledges that he prays to Allah alone and make obeisance as it reads in the words of the prayer as follows:   “O Allah, Thee do we serve and to Thee do we pray and make obeisance.”

He seeks refuge in no other God but Allah and he declares this in the following words of the prayer:  “To Thee do we flee and we are quick.”   He now hastens himself for refuge in a living God. A God that exists, a God he can depend upon for help, a God who knows and understands all of his life’s trouble and woes.

He is not perfect; therefore, he hopes for mercy from the true God in the words of the prayer as follows:  “We hope for Thy mercy. And fear Thy chastisement.”   He has learned of the suffering and chastisement of Allah upon those who disbelieve in Him.

He is no longer an unbeliever, for he has surely turned himself, being upright, to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth.

How to get oily grease stains out of your clothes

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Asiatic Black Sisters,

I made three new garments for Spring, but my favorite, by far, was my ORANGE one. Orange is my color this year and I couldn’t wait to wear my orange garment to Leimert.

Sunday came and I got dressed and, you know I make my own deodorant out of cocoa butter, and shea butter, so I usually put it on after I put on my tunic because I don’t want to get it on my clothes. But when I was putting in on, some of it fell off my finger and got on my clothes. This was the first time I was wearing it and I messed it up.

The stain was right in the front and was clearly visible. There was no way I could wear it. I took it off and washed it, but when it dried, the stain was still there.

I googled how to get oil stains out of clothes. I saw “baking soda.” So, I tried that to no avail. I could not get it out. So, I had decided to just buy some more material and make another one.

But before I made my trip to DTLA, I was conversing with a Sister on the bus and we were talking and I mentioned how I had this oil stain that I couldn’t get out. She recommended I use BABY POWDER. I didn’t have anything to lose.

So, this morning, when I did my laundry, I put some Baby Powder and a little water on the stain, and a little detergent, let it sit about fifteen minutes and then washed it.

Lo And Behold! When it dried the stain was completely gone. Talking to my people is the best thing I could ever do. It really pays to converse and get to know the people around you.

Yesterday, I met a Sister on the bus and we exchanged numbers. Then when I got off the bus, I had left my wallet. Because I had been talking to her, she was able to call me and return it to me.

Don’t be afraid to speak to your Brothers and especially, your Sisters, Sisters. We have to show love to each other and we can’t do that by being distant. Just say

“As-Salaam-Alaikum”

“Wa-Laikum-Salaam”

“A little unity won’t do us no harm.”
