I’m still here!

I didn’t have to sleep outside last night.

I used to think it was more important to pray before you went to sleep at night –
To thank Allah for surviving the day.

But when you’re homeless,

IMHO

Especially being female,

I Want To Thank Him For Surviving The Night.

I’m so thankful PERIOD.

I’m homeless and carry all my worldly belongings on me

BUT

There are so many people in worse condition.

I’m happy and healthy

AND

I AM MUSLIM!!!

I HAVE ALLAH!!!

SO I HAVE EVERYTHING!!!

ALLAHU AKBAR!!!

ALLAH IS THE GREATEST!!!!

This morning was a little crazy.

They tried to jump me.

BUT

When you show no fear, it scares people.

They didn’t touch her.

She went to the Beach instead.

But got off the bus early

Pick some Aloe Vera for a sick woman at the shelter.

It’s been over twenty years and the Aloe was gone.

But she found something MUCH BETTER!!!

In Sha Allah, it will work like it worked before.

I don’t know what Zawji Has Planned For Me Today.

There was no Night on Broadway last night. The streets were completely empty, reminiscent of downtown prior to the nineties when the renaissance began.

I ran into an ol’ friend.

He didn’t even recognize me!

I love that.

Gotta keep it new.

The steez.

I’m proud of him.

He Has a House Now.

In Sha Allah, he’ll find his homemaker soon.

To make his house a home.

The Library is open now, but it’s Monday, so it’s probably crowded. Then again, it wasn’t crowded yesterday when they first opened. So, cheah. I got my vittles, so I’ma skip lunch at the center.

I think I’ll wait until the Sister finishes the remedy.

I thank Allah for giving me the knowledge of herbals that heal sickness. It’s a Blessing. I hate to see sick Black People. I love you all and would give my life to save yours.

So, eat right and live a long time.

We are going to rule the nations.

CAPTAIN’S LOG
JANUARY 29, 2017 11:09 A.M.

I am anxiously awaiting the beginning of the month (February) (Happy Belated Birthday, Rakim!!!) so I can open the next chapter in my life.

I really want to go back to Orleans, but I feel like Allah Wants me to revisit the A. (A-Town Stompin’ 😉 ) I might stomp through and then go to OHHHHHH! I forgot about my appointment. If it wasn’t Mardi Gras season, I might risk it. But I think, no I KNOW there are going to be a lot of people going to NO for Mardi Gras. And they’ve probably already started parading, if it’s anything like last year.

I don’t want to miss my appointment. I’ve been trying to get one since last July! So cheah. NOLA it is. FIRST.

I didn’t go to the A, last year, or whenever (this month) I left NOLA. And, I’m really regretting it because I went to Taj Mahal when I got back to L.A., and they had Pineapple Body Oil but it was watered down! I am so disappointed because I recommend them all the time.

Muhammad’s cousin is in The A and he watered down his oils but I didn’t know Muhammad did it too! I called myself telling Muhammad on his cousin, pfffffff. Muhammad needs to be told on himself! He always looks guilty. But I’m telling Allah anyway.

I had a funny feeling about him from the beginning but still patronized him because he gave me free stuff. But I’m going to go back to DAWAH on 48th and Crenshaw or whereever they are. They have the WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD smelling good. Like when I went to New York. It smelled so good!

I should have known DAWAH on 48th and Crenshaw was better on the strength of their name. DAWAH means to teach people about Islam in Arabic and convert them to Islam. Proselytize, iow.

And Taj Mahal is named after some shrine to a leader of India’s wife! I wonder what it means in English. BRB

It translates to “CROWN MOTHER.”

DAWAH is much better. As far as the name goes. But they’re hypocrites and treated me funny the last time I went there.

Even the store in The A was prejudiced.

So, I don’t know.

I need a connect in Africa for my shea and cocoa butters and Arabia for my oils and incense so I can order my stuff direct. One day, In Sha Allah (If it Pleases Allah).

I am so thankful I did not have to sleep outside last night. Every night it’s like a spiritual battle trying to make sure I have a safe place to sleep. It is making your Sister Captain very humble.

I even had the opportunity to have breakfast twice!

It’s sad how fat these women have gotten. Food is abundant on Skid Row. You have to be careful. I was gone about a year and some have picked up weight and aged so much you would think I was gone ten years.

And I wonder if they even know they’ve gained weight. Clothes are abundant also, so they may not even realize they’ve outgrown their old clothes….. Hmmmm…….

Anyway, I’m ghost next month, In Sha Allah. Allah sent me a reminder to be mindful of my food intake. It’s hard to eat one meal a day when you’re not sure when your next meal is going to be. I mean, I know I said food is plenteous but you never know what’s going to happen when you’re dependent on others who are not your Zawji. Even though, really I am dependent on Zawji. Everything I have is because of Him.

So, for some reason I can’t remember, those three “See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil” monkeys have been in my head.

I downloaded a picture but Allah Won’t Let me post it. I can’t find the one I really wanted and you’ve all seen them anyway.

The first one is covering his eyes, the second one has his index fingers in his ears, the third is covering his mouth.

I bet you didn’t know there’s a fourth.

He’s covering his private parts and it symbolizes “DO no evil.”

What?!?!?!!!

Right.

DO NO EVIL too.

They’re called “The Four Wise Monkeys.” 

I used to be embarrassed when I saw them. Thinking they had something to be ashamed of. Like they were embarrassed because they had done something wrong, but in actuality, it’s the exact opposite.

They are trying NOT to even see, hear, say or DO anything wrong!!!

America corrupts everything and tries to change good into bad.

I could not believe some of the things that came up when I Googled them.

You will have to do that yourself, if you want to find out, because I am not going to entertain it here!!!

But I know it originated with Yakub and his made devils. Then and there I realized that people will say anything and everything to try and get people to think negatively about you.

They’re having something called “Night on Broadway” or something downtown and I walked through on my way home last night. That store that sells the hats with my new logo was open and it’s Black-owned (low-key). (You know we can’t let devils know we own stuff or they’ll boycott us. Black people too, unfortunately. 😥 )

Anyway, the owner gave me a pink one. I feel so proud. I’ve seen Brothers and others rockin’ ’em, but not any Sisters. I’m the O.G.

I made a video on Facebook of me in it. I was going to screenshot it, but for some reason Allah is not allowing me to post any pictures to this entry.

I’m pretty sure they’re doing the Night on Broadway again today.

They’re doing something because the bus took a detour.

In Sha Allah, I’ll go by again. I’ve got two hours to kill before they start letting us in the shelter. So, why not?

It was fun and I got to see the cutest kid bands. They were devils, but one had a Brother Bass Player and a speckled-up girl singer. They did all original material too! I didn’t ask, but she sang them like they were original songs.

Hopefully, I’ll have as good a time as I had last night, In Sha Allah.

It beats sitting outside with a bunch of chain-smoking homeless women.

Chicago, Illinois – (This is Part Two of “Muhammad Speaks'” exclusive presentation of Messenger Muhammad’s (Peace Be Upon Him) January 14, 1972, Press Conference)

QUESTION: Mr. Muhammad, is it true that you are planning to build a new home for your family. I think right adjacent to your present home?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: It is true those houses are my homes.

QUESTION: The press has evaluated the new homes at a half a million dollars.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I wish I had gotten off with that cheap price, but it is twice that much that these buildings are costing. All four of the homes cost a million dollars a little over a million dollars; about $2,230,000.

QUESTION: I was referring to a new home for yourself and your wife. Mr. Muhammad, that home, sometimes referred to as a mansion, the cost has been estimated to cost one half million dollars.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I think they are costing a little more for the house here on the corner.

QUESTION: There are reports that you are in the process of purchasing a large tract of land to build low income houses.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We have some information from the authorities that they could supply us with an area now for about a hundred thousand, I do not know exactly. I have not gone into any serious questioning about it.

QUESTION: Federal government or local government?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: Local government, the city.

QUESTION: How soon do you expect those to be built?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not know. I have not went into seriously, these offers, but I hope to do so soon because we need them. My greatest desire on the South side is to build homes for the Black Man on the South side in Chicago. Again, my greatest desire is to put him up a hospital, which he sorely needs; he really needs a hospital. Again, the third, I would say, it is an educational center to teach him the knowledge of self. The city has not approached me yet to sell me and my followers these houses. But, they have indirectly indicated this would be easy to do, if I wanted to get them for such purposes.

QUESTION: Do you have a date in mind when you would like to begin construction of these one hundred single family homes?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We would like to go into that as soon as possible with the proper authorities.

QUESTION: Will you also try similar enterprises in other cities?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: Yes, everywhere we are. This group in Baton Rouge, claiming to be Muslims, is there a known leader?

QUESTION: Do you know how many Muslims have been killed in the last few years, either by police or internal strife? Do you keep such a record?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We try, but I am not saying how many we have on record, today.

QUESTION: You spoke earlier about police brutality. Were you suggesting that this was some kind of police plot? Or are you sure it was a splinter group?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: Yes, we have been attacked and still are being attacked by the police department and there are some few of my followers who have been killed by the police department.

QUESTION: Do you feel that the police might have been responsible for what happened at Baton Rouge or on the West Coast?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I am not eager to say pro or con on this matter, because I do not have too much knowledge of it. But I do know, according to what has passed, that the police department down there could give you better knowledge than me.

QUESTION: You indicate that the numbers of the Nation are increasing. How do you feel about the fidelity that is coming from the individuals who are joining up with the Nation? Do you feel people are becoming more deeply involved or more deeply a part of the Nation of Islam, or do you think the numbers tend to spread things thin?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I think for the last year or so that we have increased in the registry of our people, with very good people. Their morals are good and they are trying now to increase themselves into better morals. Our natural Black people all over the country are trying to do that.

QUESTION: Have you designated a successor for yourself ?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not do that. I cannot do that. I did not choose myself. God chose me and if He wants a successor, He will choose that one.

QUESTION: By what means would someone come up?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not know that, because I do not believe there is one coming up. The work that I am doing, I don’t think God needs one, because when man and God have come face to face, as the old saying goes, then that is the end of it. When we are face to face with God, that is the end of it and so what would another one do? There is nothing for him to do.

QUESTION: After you are gone, Mr. Muhammad, the Nation of Islam will continue to exist but how?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: It will be a New Islam to what the old Orthodox Islam is, today. It will be altogether a New One.

QUESTION: You mean your successor will preside over a New Islam?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: There will be no successor. There is no need for a successor when a man has got the Divine truth and has brought you face to face with God.

QUESTION: How will your resources be administered?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: That will be carried on by the Nation. After setting up the Nation on the right way, or right path to take care of themselves, they do not need any more instruction on that. They will follow it as the Constitution of America has been followed.

QUESTION: Will it be run by local Mosques?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No, No, No. After this, the whole entire Nation of Black people will be governed Divinely and the government will be a Divine government and not something that is governed locally, like we have today. We will have a Divine government set up for us, and it will stand forever. We will not need any change.

QUESTION: What did you mean, “new different from Orthodox?”

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I meant just that. We have a New Islam coming up. The Old Islam was led by white people, white Muslims, but this one will not be. This Islam will be established and led by Black Muslims, only.

QUESTION: Will there be a Saviour’s Day affair as it has been in the Coliseum.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We have not made preparations there.

QUESTION: Where will you have it Sir.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We hope to have it in the Armory over on 52nd and Cottage.

QUESTION: Will you address the gathering, Mr. Muhammad?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: That depends on the Will of God. If He Pleases, I will be there.

QUESTION: Has that changed your plans, Baton Rouge, has it changed your security arrangements?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No, because I have One Security and that is God, Himself.

QUESTION: How is your health?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: My health? Well, I do very well, I think, if it Pleases Allah. And, all of the afflictions of the former Messengers, to classify Elijah that is coming just before the Great and Dreadful day of God, he must have a taste of all of it.

QUESTION: Why did you appoint a press conference, today?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: They appointed themselves, and I am willing to go along with them, in that I set up a press conference.

QUESTION: When was the last press conference, do you recall ?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I have not had an actual press conference in quite few years. I think it was in L.A. I had something like questions on certain things, on one thing, about when the Malcolm death took place. That was not, say, really a press conference. We have not had a press conference since quite a few years ago, out in Los Angeles.

QUESTION: Would you tell us the present status of Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay)?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: Cassius Clay is a good believer. I would say the young man is full of sport and he goes along with sport, too, but I think in his heart he wants to be good.

QUESTION: Will he be returned into full membership in the Nation of Islam?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: There is nothing one would do that cannot be forgiven, if he repents.

QUESTION: Have you set a date for when he comes back into full membership?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No, he is actually still a good Believer. As far as certain duties or posts as he used to hold, as teaching the Ministry, I do not know when that will take place.

Al Hamdulillah!

ALL HOLY THANKS AND PRAISE TO ALLAH!!!

I DIDN’T HAVE TO SPEND THE NIGHT OUTSIDE!!!

I went to the Union and they took my bed ticket AGAIN! That’s four times in less than two weeks!

So. Our teacher and leader and guide, The Honourable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah Forever Be Upon Him) Taught us that if someone doesn’t want you there, find somewhere else to go.

So, since they keep taking my bed ticket, I figured they really don’t want me there.

So, I tried to get in another shelter. But, they didn’t want me there either. So, I found a place outside, but I really didn’t want to sleep outside. So, I went back to the U, and got in.

I slept in a different place.

I’ve been in the chapel so far.

I like it because it’s a chapel and it made me feel close to ALLAH.

But Allah is everywhere I am. So, I was cool in the new place.

They threw me out this morning. :/

BUT

ALLAH HAS BLESSED

Me With a BEAUTIFUL SINGING VOICE.

SO

Whenever I’m out in the cold

OR

Somewhere Uncomfortable

I SING

AND

It makes me feel better.

It reminds me of our poor ancestors who used to sing to make themselves feel better.

NEGRO SPIRITUALS

AND

FREEDOM SONGS

“FOLLOW THE DRINKING GOURD”

was a code worded song slaves used to use to alert other slaves on how to successfully attain their FREEDOM.

“The Drinking Gourd” was the Big Dipper.

“The River” was the Mississippi.

I think “Dead Trees” means dead bodies. 😥 😥 😥

They used to sing them like Negro Spirituals.

Most people don’t listen to lyrics in songs.

So, we could deliver secret messages and the slavemasters and overseers would not be privy to what was going on right under their racist noses.

I remember my daughter used to make up songs and sing them when she couldn’t tell me how she felt.

Captain’s Log

February 27, 2017 10:17 a.m.

Meeting with Thelma went poorly. She’s like my mother. Never liked me for some reason. But she seemed concerned about my bike. :/

I’ve learned, and she is just reinforcing my previous observations, in big organizations, everyone sticks together; even when wrong. All I can do is Love Allah. They HATE Allah and want me to hate Allah too, but Allah is BIGGER, BETTER & BADDER than they are. Even if they put me out and never let me back in, but I know that’s never going to happen, I’ll be okay.

They want me on their terms – Christianity.

But I know what’s in store for them. The Holy Qur’an says they will never stop in their attempts to turn me back to their filthy religion. So, Allah removes me from the situation before I kill somebody. At least, He Has so far…

I will fight, kill and die for Allah, which is why they perceive me as such a threat. They say they don’t turn women away. But they’ve taken my bed ticket three times. And now won’t give me another one. So, so much for that.

I’ve got a Plan B and a Plan C, but I’m not sure which is worse.

Sleeping outside or sleeping in some man’s house who is not Zawji.

I’ve never been able to sleep outside. I couldn’t do it in Leimert, so I know I can’t do it anywhere. And VIRGIL was there! It gets extremely cold (I once woke up with ice on my windshield!) and sometimes rains this time of year, but sleeping in another man’s house, even if he is not there, is emotionally agonizing and mentally terrifying because he’s coming back and he’s going to want something I can’t give. It’s confusing and highly stressful trying to deal so intimately with someone who is not worth it to me.

He’s a prize to some women but I don’t want him. I just need a place to stay and unfortunately there are predators who prey on women in my exact situation.

He says he has other women for that, but I know my value and no other woman compares to me. I’m not boasting. I just know the deal.


(“I ain’t braggin’ but I’m the ONE. Just ask me and it shall be done. Don’t bother to compare. I’ve got it!!!”)

I’m probably going to just go to another shelter. You have to sleep outside, if there’s room. It gets terribly cold at night and like I said, rains sometimes, but at least you don’t have to worry about the pigs coming and making you leave for trespassing.

Less than a week……

Wait, I HAVE slept on the street! Somewhere in Nevada, I slept in the bushes behind this bus stop. That was chill.

 

So, I’ll try the shelters and if I can’t get in any, then I’ll try Batman.

Al Hamdulillah! All Praise is due to Allah!

I am not out in the cold. I am not out in the night. I have a roof over my head. I have a cot to sleep on. I know that Superman works in the day and Batman at night. I might possibly be having a baby. :o)

In Sha Allah, tomorrow I’m telling Thelma on these two guards that always sweat me. I wish they would just leave me alone. They let me stay here tonight. But I know they’re looking for the first opportunity to kick me out. So when Thelma gets here I’m TELLING! I already wrote her a note. But I think I’m going to just tell her what happened.

They probably lied and put something in the computer so if she looks it up, it’ll have some little lie in it. But I’m just going to tell the TRUTH and hope they will leave me alone.

I think it’s because I’m a Muslim.

I mean HE could be upset because I’m in love with Zawji, SHE could be upset for the same reason if she thinks I’m her mother. That’s it. They want to be a family. :/ LOL Never gonna happen. Especially with the way they keep treating me.

One Day EVERYONE WILL KNOW that I WILL DIE without entertaining another man.

Amad-Jamal Allah, To Whom Praises Are Due Forever is the ONLY man for me.

They don’t understand TRUE LOVE. It’s FOREVER!!!

SEPARATION doesn’t cause it to die. It makes it stronger.

TEMPTATION doesn’t make you say bye. It makes you more appreciative.

PRIVATION only tightens the tie. It makes you more dependent on each other.

Everybody thinks “There are ‘TOO MANY FISH IN THE SEA’ for me to have to deal with things I don’t like about the person I’m with.”

That is definitely the wrong attitude to have if you expect to have a successful relationship. Someone tried to give me that BAD ADVICE about Zawji, but what he didn’t understand is that ALLAH Told Me Zawji is the ONLY MAN FOR ME.

In this song, the Sister was dumped. I can’t really relate because I’ve never been dumped. But cheah, if you get dumped then…

If you are thinking about leaving someone because you have problems, all you have to do is Pray and ask Allah to fix the problem. Stick with the person until the problem is worked out. Allah is the Second Coming of JESUS and HE Will Work It Out if you let HIM.

The plan is to go to New Orleans when I get my check next. In sha Allah (If it is the Will of Allah), I’ll be able to leave that same day. I don’t want to be here any longer. I’ll have money for a hotel, so at least I won’t be in a shelter if I can’t get a same-day ticket. It’s so stressful here. They keep picking on me. Why? For HIS NAME SAKE.

The Bible warns us that the disbelievers and infidels would persecute you “for His Name’s Sake” My Name is ALLAH. It is not referring to the Christians who have the devil’s names. I have a Holy and Righteous Name of Allah.

Most Muslims go in the Name of Allah. All BLACK PEOPLE should go in the Names of Allah as HE is our Father. We should wear One Of His Names.

I need to look up the definition for consort. I think it means, your Best Friend who you make love to and the only one you make love to, like Zawji but with Zawji, it’s official.

In Ancient Kemet (Egypt), their Gods had “CONSORTS.” And, I was wondering why the translators used that word. BRB

I think when the Ancients used it, it only referred to the female companion of a GOD. Auset was Ausar’s consort, for example. I don’t think it would be appropriate to say He was her consort. The Blackman is God. The Blackwoman is His Helpmate or consort. 😉

The difference between men and women is that men think if they give you a child, you will be bonded together forever. They think, “You don’t need a ring to be my wife.” Women think differently. They will take YOUR CHILD(REN) and go marry another man who gives them a ring.

On Friday, January 14, sixteen Chicago-based journalists representing several local and national newspapers and magazines were received in the home of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Messenger of Allah. In this rare hour-and-a-half long group interview, Messenger Muhammad placed no limitations on questions asked. Though granted this rare privilege to talk at length with a man the press usually describes as “inaccessible,” the journalists’ editors have permitted very little of the interview to appear in other news media. Therefore, Muhammad Speaks presents the interview in an EXCLUSIVE SERIES as was recorded by Sister V. Najieb, one of the Messenger’s secretaries.)

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: My reaction is to continue to teach them to not do those things as I have always. I do not believe in carrying weapons. When a man puts weapons in his pockets, or a gun, I will make it clear, it takes his mind off God’s protection and puts it on the gun to protect him. This I have taught my followers ever since God left me: Do not carry weapons, because that is not a protection for the people who manufacture such weapons. They cannot save their own lives with them, today.

QUESTION: What is the reason in your estimation for the violence that has occurred? What do you think is the reason for the violence that has taken place?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: It is just people who are not ready to join up with the righteous and who wish to destroy the righteous and let evil and unrighteousness triumph, if it can.

QUESTION: Is there an effort to take over the Organization?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not think our people are that foolish as to think they can take it over. There may be some people that think they can take it over. There may be some people that think, “If such one and such one is out of the way I could get his place.” That may be in the minds of some of the people but I do not believe actually they really believe it themselves (that they are going to take over). Do you think, Sir that it is true? The Mayor of Baton Rouge thought this.

QUESTION: Have you heard anything to the effect that government officials are trying to put pressure on the Black Muslims similar to the pressure that was put on other Black organizations in the past?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: As I said, a minute or so ago. I have been doing this work for forty years. I have known many groups to rise up since that time and carry into practice what you have in mind. But actually our people in L.A. and New York or any other place, here in Chicago, they have been mistreated right along. They go to prison and the federal penitentiary, as they call it (institutions). But, that is all given to us. The trial of the Black Muslims in America must come to pass. We must be tried.

QUESTION: Has police brutality in Chicago increased or decreased?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No I do not say that it has increased against us. I think it is just about the same as it always has been.

QUESTION: Has anybody brought it to your attention, has any member brought it to your attention, that they are dissatisfied with how that money is used?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not pay any attention to any such talk, because most of my followers are satisfied with what happens to the money that is donated for the upkeep of the work that we are doing and wish that they could give more.

QUESTION: The Nation of Islam does have considerable holdings financial assets and there in the South, recently, I forgot whether it was Alabama or Mississippi, there was a lot of “hullabaloo” about not allowing Black Muslims to obtain farmland, due to the number of people trying to cut down on…..

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We have been living in the world that goes like this “Keep the nigger down.” And we are not out of it yet. And what we are doing today, we are trying to do something for ourselves. Therefore, we go to the farm, where there is the place where everyone, if he wants to be successful, can go back to the earth and get it from the earth. This is where the white man got it from. He has been successful ever since he has been on the Western Hemisphere. He has raised enough food to supply his brother in Europe and even our Brothers in Africa, right here in America.

QUESTION: The group in Baton Rouge that has been identified as Black Muslims, what was their status at the time of the shooting in Baton Rouge?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not know, because we did not have them on our register; therefore, we do not know just what was what. We do know this, that they were not on our registry as good Muslims. We could not locate them and if they were on our registry, as good Muslims, we would try to do the best we could to uphold their goodness…. We did not know these people in the beginning. Their names, some of them are foreign to us, altogether.

QUESTION: Do you have a central registry of all through out the country?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: All of them that come to register, we do have.

QUESTION: Can you give us a number of those you have?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: They come so fast. Right at this hour they are trying to get to us now, in the Registry of Islam. We never know how many we have. We believe we have quite a few hundred thousand over the country. And they are coming in faster now than ever.

QUESTION: Authorities in Baton Rouge released a vast itinerary (of the group in Baton Rouge), trying in many reports from various sources saying that this group has come there, asking for support.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: No, I have not received any report. No, I do not have anything that I can say accurate report that these people came to the Temple there.

QUESTION: (Referring to the shooting of Theodore Bey and Captain Raymond Sharrieff) Why do you think someone would be shooting at Mr. Sharrieff, and why do you think some would be shooting Theodore Bey?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: I do not know what you have in your heart. I do not have that knowledge. Why would they go shoot at the man? What was he doing to them to cause their anger to rise that high to want to kill an innocent man sitting behind the wall in his own office?

QUESTION: What do you mean when you say, “a good Muslim?”

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: A good Muslim is one who observes and obeys the laws of the Religion of Islam, designed by God, Himself.

QUESTION: Does that mean that they are only people, I suppose, people ousted from the religion at times? If someone is found not to obey the laws, they are expelled?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: We have such punishment if we find you not obeying the laws of the religion of Islam as it is taught to me by God, Himself, and that I put the law out before the world and especially before the world and especially before those who believe, to follow and obey, we put you out of the circle and we give such time as from thirty days to six, nine, or twelve months and one to five years and that to seven years. But, we never have had to put a man out or woman out for seven years. But, these are the numbers of times that you are to pay for your disobedience.

QUESTION: If you are expelled or suspended are you listed on the registry? Do you have a list if someone is suspended for a period of seven years for not obeying the laws? Would you still have that person listed on your registry ?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: Yes, we have to keep him on there.

QUESTION: So if the people were members at any time, you would know that.

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: If we consult our register, to find out whether or not any of these people were listed (the name), we will find it. We are still searching. We never stop searching to see if such and such people are not on our register, just in case, say, we punish ourselves. We have a punishment as I just listed to you, for disobedient Muslims and we are always checking our registry for such things that a Muslim may do and cause us trouble.

QUESTION: It appears from your check so far, that none of the people in Baton Rouge are members of your organization?

MESSENGER MUHAMMAD: So, far, we have not found wherein those people that were charged with beginning a shooting riot down there were on our registry. I want to accelerate this “Baton Rouge staff.” We do not consider a Muslim is Muslim, who is running around over the country, trying to start trouble. We do not even consider him.

If you break down the word “essential,” the root word is essence.
According to www.Merriam-Webster.com

Definition of “ESSENCE”

  1. 1a :  the permanent as contrasted with the accidental element of being
    b :  the individual, real, or ultimate nature of a thing especially as opposed to its existence<a painting that captures the essence of the land>
    c :  the properties or attributes by means of which something can be placed in its proper class or identified as being what it is

  2. 2:  something that exists :  entity (*I wish they had given us an example of how it is used in this instance in a sentence because I don’t get it)

  3. 3a (1) :  a volatile substance or constituent (as of perfume) (2) :  a constituent or derivative possessing the special qualities (as of a plant or drug) in concentrated form; also :  a preparation of such an essence or a synthetic substitute
    b :  odor, perfume

  4. 4:  one that possesses or exhibits a quality in abundance as if in concentrated form <she was the essence of punctuality>

  5. 5:  the most significant element, quality, or aspect of a thing or person <the essence of the issue>

Just about every one of these definitions pertains to the topic of this blog. I want to list some things that I like to make sure I am never without. Some things I keep on me, like the olive oil and the spoon, others are good just to have in the house. (If you have one 🙂 )

The definition that stands out to me is 3a(2) : a constituent or derivative possessing the special qualities in concentrated form and 4: one that possesses these qualities in abundance and in concentrated form. These things embody the essence of my personality, in concentrated form, in my opinion.

Everyone of them embody an aspect of me. They are all sensual (sense is also a root of the word essential)

Definition of “SENSUAL”

  1. 1:  relating to or consisting in the gratification of the senses

  2. 2:  sensory

  3. 3a :  devoted to or preoccupied with the senses

They are all useful, healthy and overally (you know I make up words 😉 ) good for you. And I think any of these things could be used to represent me or any person in tune with themselves and the world around us.

BAKING SODA

OMG I would be lost without baking soda. The sense of smell is right up there on my list of most essential senses right after hearing and then sight and it is EXTREMELY important to me. I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I can walk in your house and tell you what type of oil you cooked your dinner in. Seriously.

If you want to keep your house smelling good, keep some baking soda hidden somewhere in every room. You already know to keep some in the fridge. I had some in my medicine cabinet because I use it to brush my teeth and mix it with olive oil for deodorant (NEVER USE ANTIPERSPIRANT – IT CAUSES BREAST CANCER BY PREVENTING YOUR SWEAT GLANDS FROM FUNCTIONING) and when the time came for me to move, I was packing it up and I smelled it and Oh My God, it smelled HEAVENLY! It absorbed my natural scent and I smell good! 😛

If you have a pet, you DEFINITELY need to keep baking soda in your house. Nothing is worse than pet odors. Nothing is worse than a bad odor period. Any bad odor. If you have a child who has trouble controlling his or her bladder, if you have foot odor, food odors, body odor, ANY TYPE OF ODOR, put some baking soda wherever the odor appears (bed, carpet, shoes, &c.), let it sit, and clean it up after the odor goes away. AND IT WILL GO AWAY.

You can keep a little bag in your purse, in your dresser or anywhere you want to be FRESH!!!

Baking soda is also good to remove stains, and when you mix it with vinegar, unclogging drains.

OLIVE OIL

I travel a lot and recommend it for anyone who does. Even if you just go alot of places around town as opposed to sitting in the house and only going out to run errands. If you like to take in the sights and sounds of your own city and see and do interesting and fun and exciting things on a regular basis, I recommend keeping a bottle of Olive Oil in your home or on your person.

As soon as I reach a new city, I like to thank Allah for my safe arrival, wash thoroughly (baths are my preference, you can put some olive oil in the water too) and then rub olive oil all over my body, focusing on my healthy feet and legs, which Allah Has Blessed Me to be able to travel with while I say prayers of thanksgiving.

I see a lot of crippled people or practically crippled people shuffling slowly, painfully and laboriously along with walkers, canes or in wheelchairs, and I always offer my help and silently thank Allah at that moment for my good health and ability to travel with ease.

I also thank Him by traveling. He Blessed me with the good health and the ability, so I want to show Him how much I appreciate His Blessings and travel often. I just got back in L.A. and I’m already thinking about when I’m going back to New Orleans.

It’s good to carry Olive Oil on your person because I am ALWAYS meeting someone with some type of ailment and I get to play Good Samaritan and share my olive oil so they can apply it to wherever they hurt.

LEMONS

Lemons, as well as baking soda, are a must have to remove stains and when I had my own place I was ruthless with stains. Especially raising a boy. I always say the difference between raising boys and girls is “grass stains” LOL

Lemons are also good to keep on deck because, when coupled with honey, you always have a healthy and sweet NATURAL beverage. It’s also good when heated up, if you have a cold.

Lemon water is good to drink if you just feel icky. You can feel it as it works, coursing through your body and eliminating it of any enemies (germs).

HONEY

I never use sugar. I keep a honey bear in my purse and take it everywhere I go. If I get a cup of coffee somewhere, I always have my own honey available.

I don’t know about you, but I love ice cream and when I get that feeling, I need some frozen milk (cream) and honey healing. LOL And it’s always handy to have a REAL spoon in your bag. You don’t have to worry about finding one or when you do, having it be of inferior quality. I also hate those little coffee stirrer thingies. They never do the job. I always have a puddle of sugar at the bottom of the cup. That is until I started using honey and carrying my own spoon! 😉 And don’t get me started on those wooden “eights” they try to pass off as spoons. Ever got a splinter on your lip? :/

A WHITE FACE TOWEL

This is really for my homeless people, but it can’t hurt to be prepared. You never know when you may get caught stuck somewhere overnight and need to wash your face. It is good to keep a white face towel handy to wipe up any and everything from your face to little spills.

It’s better than carrying napkins or wipes or paper towels because it’s sturdier and can be reused. And it has to be white to make sure you stay REALLY clean.

I have carried wipes though. But I like to make my own and keep them at home. But you can get a little travel case of wipes. And oftentimes, wipes are disinfectant too. But if you want to wash your face, I wouldn’t recommend the disinfectant kind.

WATER

For cleaning or drinking. I prefer SPRING WATER. But beware, Brothers and Sisters, because the devil is putting water out there and calling it “spring” or “Artesian” water and it tastes like gutter water. LOL They are straight up liars! Stick to the brands you know (Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, Sierra, Fiji) and don’t be trying to keep up with their new brands, lest you find yourself keeping up with them to the grave.

If you are just going to be using it for cleaning or putting it in your iron or something, then of course, it doesn’t matter. But I’ve heard distilled is best for electrical products like your car or iron.

I used to keep stacks of cases of water bottles in my house. You know, we Muslims, are always prepared in case of an emergency and I would highly recommend keeping water stored up. We are living in the last days and you never know when you might need it. Stock up when they go on sale.

Also, keep water in your car and in your bag or somewhere handy, just in case you have a coughing fit and can’t clear your lungs.

CREOLE SEASONINGS

I heard Method Man carries Seasoning Salt and I used to carry Garlic Salt until I went to New Orleans and got hip to the Creole Seasonings. Oh, and I think Bey and Michelle carry hot sauce. 😉

Whichever you prefer, but, there is nothing worse (except a bad odor 😛 ) than ordering a salmon steak and it’s flavourless. So, always keep your handy-dandy seasoning on deck.
