As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Ma Beautiful And Beloved Asiatic Black Bebies!!!
How are all of you?
Good?
I’m good too!
I had a really good day today.
I went to the dental school and was accepted into their program so I can be treated as a patient. I was worried for a minute because I wasn’t sure if I would be accepted, but not only was I accepted, I had the $125 I needed to pay!
الله أكب
Oh My God! Why did I buy some oils from this Brother a week ago on Canal Street, but I didn’t want to use them until I could take a good bath and get to smelling all good? And I opened the oils up for the first time yesterday and it took me straight to the French Quarter!
Those oils smell so good!
I don’t even know what kind they are.
He just let me smell them and they smelled good (and I have extremely high standards when it comes to oils) so I bought them. And Oh My God! They have been making me feel lit all day.
That’s about all.
I’m just really loving my Zawji, listening to the Messenger (PBUH) and I think I’m going to turn in early tonight.
The origin of our kinky hair came from one of our dissatisfied scientists, fifty thousand years ago, who wanted to make all of us tough and hard in order to endure the life of the jungles of East Asia (Africa) and to overcome the beasts there. But he failed to get the others to agree with him. He took his family and moved into the jungle to prove to us that we could live there and conquer the wild beasts and we have.
Believe it or not, there are TWO companies out here –
A.J.’s Produce and Bubba’s Produce
I kid you not. On YOU. They are out here and you know who they are…
ENGINEERING is also CRUCIAL.
Problem-solving and developing products to help our nation survive. We are beyond building. We have to thrive and grow now.
When was the last time you invented something?

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
So, the hospital placed me in a really cool spot.
The owners are a cool Black couple.
They remind me of me and Zawji.
Probably because they’re the Beautiful Ones.
But I hope they don’t break each others hearts or whatever Prince said they do every time.
Anyway.
I have a radio and I’m listening to my favorite New Orleans station (WYLD 98.5 – Google it) and Keith Sweat is playing all these love songs.
I haven’t heard R&B in a LONG Time.
I’ve been listening to second line and New Orleans music like (“Side piece” SMH ya’ll know what I’m talm bout SMH) I would post a video but I’m scared to actually listen to it. They have another song talm bout “Get out” too. But I think that one is getting played out. It’s funny NO has local music. )
So, I get out the hospital TODAY, get settled in, turn on the box and hear ALL these love songs and can’t stop thinking about my Beloved Sweetest Zawji.
It’s like he’s doing it on purpose.
I’ve been locked up over a week and now that I’m out, he’s like
“ALL YOU’RE GOING TO THINK ABOUT IS ME!!!”
What can I do?
I was reading some old e-mails I sent him last year and resent a couple of them.
I don’t know what to do
BUT
Think about him.
So, I’m gonna do that for a while.
This chocolate isn’t helping either. 😛
BRB
Okay, now I’m going to type the blogs I wrote while I was in the hospital just so I can keep a record for myself of where my head was at.

NEW ORLEANS
I’m sitting here drinking this delicious coffee I know is making me shake! I got my Holy Qur’an. I’ve been reading but I want to write/plan.
Dr. Appt. Tuesday إن شاء الله
Trying to obtain housing but can’t afford to fix tooth.
Tooth is more important.
I can get housing anytime.
إن شاء الله I’ll be able to keep my appointment. And at least START the process! I’m anxious to get it out of the way. It’s terrible having to walk around and talk to people with a messed up grille. Embarrassing! But Allah is the Best Planner. Let me see if I can get out Monday. BRB I’ma talk to the Social Worker. إن شاء الله NM. الله told me just let it be. I can get an appt. anytime but I don’t want to start the discharge process and end up with nothing. I want to stay here as long as I can.
My food stamps came in today. But I still WANT to eat out at a restaurant. Self-Discipline. Wheat Bread, cream cheese & capers, cookies, milk, fish and fruit. I’ma hideout in the catcave a while. Kill some time. Lay Low. Get my cloak. Maybe the Tower instead. I’ll be glad when my P is over. Good I didn’t have to buy pads tho! الله أكبر

(Happy Birthday Amir! 🙂 )
11:45 A.M.A.D.-JAMAL
NEW ORLEANS
Almost lunchtime. I had a really good night. At first thought was going to be worse than the worst nite of my life (when I tried to be a prostitute ), turned out to be the third best (after 1. that last night at the club with Zawji and 2. when I gave birth to Ibni).
Felt like all my dreams came true. Everybody in my family was happy and peaceful. Almost all my friends. I’m still having trouble with Erika. I feel like she’s jealous. But she’s going to be happy for us too. Well, she IS in this new world. But I’ll get to that later. 😉 But I was truly happy and at peace! الحمد لله الله أكبر
I’m hungry for lunch. I weigh 148 lbs. Jamal noticed I gained weight! 🙂 He is the sweetest! He’s not here today. 😦 I might see him before I leave on Monday. إن شاء الله I’m excited about leaving. Entering a new chapter. I’ma apply for low-income housing so Ibni can come visit me in the Summer.
I’m gonna act like none of the horrible things in my life happened and create a new world where I’m truly and everybody else is TRULY happy no lies. No fakeness. The Hereafter!
So, I’m leaving on Monday. I can keep my dentist appt! Yaaaay!
The doctor said I have a lot of talent. I didn’t ask her how she knew. I’m scared to be famous زوجي says. I think he’s right. I’m afraid it’s going to make me rich and I don’t want to be mean to people like Fatima was to me.
Money and fame change people and I like me the way I am.
So, I’m running from it.
I know they want me to be Ella. Or play the tambourine. Or something. But A. I don’t want to coon and B. I don’t want to change.
So, I’ll just sing for whomever happens to be around when I’m coloring. LOL 😛 And زوجي, of course.
Billy Dee said he only started acting in order to buy art supplies. LOL.
I’m like that.
😛
I just want زوجي and الله to be pleased. زوجي is always right. Kim (who owns the place I’m staying in now) says she is always right too. We’ll see.
I’m glad I came to the hospital. I’m off the street and I can apply for low-income housing. Section 8 too. إن شاء الله without living on the street.
I’ma buy a day pass on Tuesday and pick up my cloak إن شاء الله.
I was going to write Jamal a letter but why? He’s sweet but he’s not MY JAMAL. I like him like I like Broke and Corey and Thomas (the Zulu) – A LOT – But I can’t get with neither of them. So why entertain them? One man – Amad Jamal. I have no time or space to waste on anyone else. It’s better to be homeless than live with a man other than My Baby, Jamal. That’s what I learned in Graduate Homemaking Class – How To Take Care Of Your Husband 401. It’s Better To Be Homeless Than To Live With A Man Other Than Your Husband.
I had to take remedial Muslim classes because I failed the Christian classes with Costello LOL I should have learned then. I got it now.
It is better to be homeless than live with a man other than Amad-Jamal.
100%!!!
I Love Him So Much It’s INEXPLICABLE!
I KNOW he is the man Allah Created Me To Help.
I just have to wait until the proper time and place.
New Orleans is the place now.
I don’t know how long.
I don’t want to live anywhere else.
I got stagnant for a minute but زوجي remedied the situation.
إن شاء الله I’ll be able to take some classes at the Rec Center. Summer is coming! إن شاء الله I’ll have my place and Ibni can come.
I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since I left L.A. June I went to the A. July NO. Jan LA. Feb NO. I think I live here now. Maybe I’ll get an I.D. but I want to change my name. Man. Here I go again. I was in this exact same predicament in 2008. It’s going to be interesting to see how زوجي works this out.
I have to get my birth certificate, my name change document, change my name in court, then get a Louisiana I.D. simple enough 🙂
I wonder if I can just change my name with my California I.D. Hmmmmmmm
I’ll have to look into that.
It was easy to do in L.A. Should be easy here too.
Anybody changed their name in Louisiana???
HMU @ SisterCaptainLoveAllah@gmail.com
Thanks!!!

I can’t stop thinking about that Tiffany’s diamond!
I knew about this restaurant (halal) but it was so far from everything, I threw the flier away.
Well, turns out the spot I’m in now is walking distance, so I G’d it, found it and went and had the best meal I’ve had since I went to McCormick & Schmidt’s two years ago and this was much better.
They were covered in feta and mozarella cheese (and the variety of vegetables was outstanding. I had broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, green and red bell peppers, eggplant, onions, tomatoes, squash) and it was absolutely amazing. They roasted it in the same pan it was served to me in and it was layered over a bed of Basmati rice and it was delectable! Cost the same as IHOP but tastes ten times as good AND you get twice as much food.
They also have something called Lebanon-styled Iced Tea and it was like drinking roses. So Good and refreshing! I would kill for the recipe. I think I might pick some roses and make a tea out of the petals. It tasted that good.
Anyway. I’m sorry I had to move over here to try them out. Would have been well worth the trip from downtown and there’s a streetcar stop right out front. (St. Charles)
Next time, I’ma try the salmon! إن شاء الله
(I have to remind myself occasionally that this is a HOMEMAKING BLOG 🙂 )
White women’s opinion of black women & a brother’s response Please take a moment and read this. Pretty Deep! Thumbs up to this black man.. Enjoy!!
It seems that an article was written to Sister 2 Sister magazine by a DEVIL Caucasian woman who requested a response from black men. I’m so glad she got what she asked for (and more) !!!
Dear Jamie: I’m sorry but I would like to challenge some of your Black male readers. I am a White female who is engaged to a Black male-good-looking, educated and loving. I just don’t understand a lot of Black female’s attitudes about our relationship. My man decided he wanted me because the pickings amongst Black women were slim to none. As he said they were either too fat, too loud, too mean, too argumentative, too needy, too materialistic or carrying too much excess baggage. Before I became engaged, whenever I went out I was constantly approached by Black men, willing to wine and dine me and give me the world. If Black women are so up in arms about us being with their men, why don’t they look at themselves and make some changes. I am tired of the dirty looks I get and snide remarks when we’re out in public. I would like to hear from some Black men about why we are so appealing and coveted by them. Bryant Gumbel just left his wife of 26 years for one of us Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen, the model Tyson Beckford, Montell Williams, Quincy Jones, James Earl Jones, Harry Belafonte, Sydney Poitier, Kofi Anan, Cuba Gooding Jr., Don Cornelius, Berry Gordy, Billy Blanks, Larry Fishburne, Wesley Snipes… I could go on and on. But, right now, I’m a little angry and that is why I wrote this so hurriedly. Don’t be mad with us White women because so many of your men want us. Get your acts together and learn from us and we may lead you to treat your men better. If I’m wrong, Black men, let me know. Disgusted White Girl, Somewhere in VA RESPONSE
Dear Jamie: I would like to respond to the letter written by A Disgusted White Girl. Let me start by saying that I am a 28-year old black man. I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. I have a good job at a major corporation and have recently purchased a house. So, I consider myself to be among the ranks of successful black men. I will not use my precious time to slander white people. I just want to set the record straight of why black men date white women. Back in the day, one of the biggest reasons why black men dated white women was because they were considered easy. The black girls in my neighborhood were raised in the church. They were very strict about when they lost their virginity and who they lost it to. Because of our impatience to wait, brothers would look for someone who would give it up easy without too much hassle. So, they turned to the white girls. Nowadays, in my opinion, a lot of brothers date white women because they are docile and easy to control. A lot of black men, because of insecurities, fears, and overall weaknesses, have become intimidated by the strength of our black women. We are afraid that our woman will be more successful than us, make more money than us, drive nicer cars and own bigger houses.
Because of this fear, many black men look for a more docile woman. Someone we can control. I have talked to numerous black men and they continuously comment on how easy it is to control and walk over their white women. I just want to set the record straight. I want A Disgusted White Girl to know that not all successful black men date white women. Brothers like Ahmad Rashad, Denzel Washington, Michael Jordan, Morris Chestnut, Will Smith, Blair Underwood, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Samuel L. Jackson, and Chris Rock all married strong black women And, to flip the script, there are numerous white men, in and out of the spot light, who openly or secretly desire black women over white women. Ted Danson, Robert DeNiro, and David Bowie to name a few. I just don’t want a disgusted white girl to be misinformed Stop thinking that because you are white that you are some type of goddess. Remember, when black Egyptian Queens like Hatsepshut and Nitorcris were ruling Dynasties and armies of men in Egypt, you were over in the caves of Europe eating raw meat and beating each other over the head with clubs.
Read your history! It was the black woman that taught you how to cook and season your food. It was the black woman that taught you how to raise your children. It was black women who were breast feeding and raising your babies during slavery. It is the black woman that had to endure watching their fathers, husbands, and children beaten, killed, and thrown in jail. Black women were born with two strikes against them: being black and being a woman. And, through all this, Still They Rise! It is because of the black women’s strength, elegance, power, love and beauty that I could> never> date anyone except my black Queen. It is not just the outer beauty that captivates and draws me to them. It is not the fact that they come in all shapes, sizes, colors and shades that I love them. Their inner beauty is what I find most appealing about black women. Their strong spirit, loving and nurturing souls, their integrity, their ability to overcome great obstacles, their willingness to stand for what they believe in, and their determination to succeed and reach their highest potential while enduring great pain and suffering is why I have fallen in love with black women. I honestly believe that your anger is geared more toward jealousy and envy more so than snotty looks. If this were not so, then why do you continuously go to tanning salons to darken your skin? If you are so proud to be white, then why don’t you just be happy with your pale skin? Why do you continue to inject your lips, hips, and breasts with unnatural and dangerous substances so you can look fuller and more voluptuous? I think that your anger is really a result of you wanting to have what the black woman has.
BOTTOM LINE: If I were looking for a docile woman, someone I can walk over and control, I would give you a call. But, unfortunately, I am looking for a Virtuous Woman. Someone that can be a good wife and mother to my children. Someone who can be my best friend and understands my struggles. I am looking for a soul mate. I am looking for a sister and; unfortunately, you do not and CANNOT fit the bill. No offense taken, none given. Signed, Black Royalty
Zawji Allah! Help me to accept the things I don’t want to change. The courage to believe it’s true and the wisdom to know that it’s true without a doubt.
As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Ma Beautiful & Beloved Asiatic Black Bebies!
Alas,
Zawji says it’s time for me to check myself into the hospital.
Zawji Allah! Help me to accept the things I don’t want to change. The courage to believe it’s true and the wisdom to know that it’s true without a doubt.

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Ma Bebies!!!
I’m at IHOP again and there is the most adorable little angel, her mom did her hair in two afro puffs on top of her head with cornrows in the front. I’m gonna have to remember that style. It and She are so cute. Black Babies are the BEST!
I saw the sunrise this morning and perfected my sunrise song.
I found that I always sing when I watch the sunrise, so yesterday I made up a song.
I would make a video if my phone wasn’t tripping and my laptop doesn’t make videos. 😦
I would also post the lyrics but I hate when writers put the lyrics to songs.
It’s so frustrating because I need to hear the melody. So I’m not going to subject you to such frustration. I’ll just wait until my phone feels like letting me take pictures/videos.
Especially since the melody is the best part of the song!
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I was able to take a picture of the ocean liner that came in this morning. It was a Norwegian cruise line. Let me see if I can get online. Nope.
I’m interested in where it travels.
BUT
Here is the picture.
Sorry, Zawji doesn’t want me to post the picture. 😦
Let me see if I can find out where it travels. BRB
Cheah. It’s better than the Carnival. They have three week packages. And travel to Puerto Rico and Acapulco and more cool spots.
So, if you are looking for a cruise Norwegian is best.
I just tried to post the picture again. But Zawji says
NOPE!!!
Maybe later.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I’m going to wash my clothes real good today. I’ve been having them washed at the Community Center but yesterday I was able to wash my shirt out a little and you should have seen the dirt. Man. It was like it’s never been washed. I even put two laundry pods in the wash at the CC. Handwashing is best. You can keep washing until it comes clean, not until the cycle ends.
I’ve got to wash my brand new shoes too. I went to the Jazz Playhouse in the French Quarter and man! One walk through the filthy French Quarter will have your shoes BLACK!
I would just say forget it and let them turn grey like my Chux. I used to think, “You don’t have to worry about getting dirty, if you’re already dirty” LOL
But I told the salesman I would try and keep them clean. So, my word is bond. I’m going to try. At least.
I’m going to think positive. Allahu Akbar!!!
The Library doesn’t open until one today. I guess I’ll walk around and see if I can find something legal to get in to. LOL
If God destroyed ancient Babylon for the mockery made of the sacred vessels taken from the Temple in Jerusalem, what do you think Allah would do for America’s mockery of the Sacred Vessels (the so-called Negroes) that SHE (America) took from their native land and people and filled with wine and whisky?
KINKY HAIR
The origin of our kinky hair came from one of our dissatisfied scientists, fifty thousand years ago, who wanted to make all of us tough and hard in order to endure the life of the jungles of East Asia (Africa) and to overcome the beasts there. But he failed to get the others to agree with him. He took his family and moved into the jungle to prove to us that we could live there and conquer the wild beasts and we have.
THE SO-CALLED NEGROES’ PRESENT BELIEFS
It’s a disgrace what the so-called Negroes believe today.
They believe, or are made to believe, that every religion other than Christianity is false and idol worship. In reality, it is the Christians who worship idol gods. Just take a look at the interior of their churches, or see their literature. They have statues of wood and metal and imaginary pictures of God, angels, prophets and their disciples. The Christians bow before these and revere the statues and pictures as if they could speak.
These statues and pictures, O my people, are NOT of God, His angels, prophets and disciples of Jesus. Those who worship them, therefore, worship nothing but falsehood and are ignorant enough to love it.
THE SO-CALLED NEGROES ARE GUILTY OF LOVING THE WHITE RACE
More than anyone else and those who worship his image, the so-called Negroes are guilty of loving the white race and all that that race goes for.
They (the so-called Negroes) hang the pictures of white people on the walls of their homes and one can find these (pictures) also on their mantle shelves, dressers and tables. Some even carry them (the white people’s pictures) on their person.
They (the so-called Negroes) go to church and bow down to the statues under the names of Jesus and Mary and some under the name of Jesus’ disciples, which, again, are only the images of the white race, their arch deceiver.
My people (the so-called Negroes) even worship the white man’s names, which will not exist among the people of the NEW world, for they are not the names of God.
They (the so-called Negroes) would greatly benefit themselves if they would seek their places in that which Allah (God) is making NEW by giving back to the great deceiver (the devil) his religion (Christianity), churches and names, and accept the religion of their righteous Nation (Islam) and a name of their God (Allah).
98% OF THE SO-CALLED NEGROES DOUBT ISLAM
Ninety-eight per cent of the so-called Negroes are at the present time in doubt about Islam being their true religion. The other two per cent are with me – but they all will be with me as soon as they see and feel a little of the chastisement from Allah.
YOU SHALL NOT GRIEVE TODAY
Why should you doubt Islam when you know and have every proof that it is the Truth? Can you not put aside the fear that Christianity has put in your hearts?
Accept Islam, my people, and, by the Will of Allah, you’ll be afraid no more, nor shall you grieve today.
WHY MY POOR PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY WATCHED
My poor people who have turned to their own God (Allah) and religion (Islam) are constantly being tracked down and watched – as though they were about to stickup a bank. This is done to try to put fear in them – so that they might stay away from their God (Allah), His true religion (Islam), and their Salvation and Defense.
“They (the devils) watch the steps of the righteous (the so-called Negroes), and seek to slay them.” (Psalms 37:32) The so-called Negroes live under the very shadow of death in America. There is no justice for them in the courts of their slavemasters. Why, then, shouldn’t America be chastised for her evils done to the so-called Negroes?
ONE DAY YOUR ENEMY WILL BOW DOWN TO YOU
You may not believe this today, but it will come to pass that even your enemy will one day bow down to you and show you the greatest respect.
Nothing but Islam will make you a dignified and respectable people, so join on to your own kind and accept Islam, the religion of Allah, which will put you on top of the world before you know it!
AFRICANS OF AMERICA AND SELF-RESPECT
The white people sometimes say, “If the Africans of America had self-respect and ability they would go to Ghana and help build a great African Nation.”
But not with their (the devils’) schooling!
If, however, the whites would stop interfering with those who are trying to qualify themselves for a return to their Native People and Country, within a few years they all would leave them (the devils) and their evil doings.
WE HAVE NO BIRTH RECORD
Allah has taught us that we the so-called Negroes are the original people of the earth who have no birth record.
THE SO-CALLED NEGROES MENTIONED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
We, the so-called Negroes are mentioned in the New Testament under several names and parables.
I will name two: the parable of the Lost Sheep and the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:1-11), of which we could not be described better under or in a parable.
Before the coming of Allah (God) we, being blind, deaf and dumb, had mistaken the true meanings of these parables to be referring to the Jews. Now, thanks to Almighty Allah, Who Came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad (to whom be praised forever), Who Has opened my blinded eyes, loosened the knot in my tongue, and has made us to understand that these Bible parables are referring to us, the so-called Negroes (and our slavemasters).
The answer (Luke 15:4-6) to the charges made by the proud and unholy Pharisees against Him (God in Person) for eating with His lost-found people whom the Pharisees and their people had made sinners can’t be better. It defends Him and His people (lost and found sheep). He proved their wickedness and hatred for His love for His people who were lost and He had found them. They (the Pharisees) had more love for a lost and found animal of theirs than they did for the lost and found people of Allah (God).
Well, they don’t call New Orleans the crime capital of America for nothing.
Somebody stole my brand new bike! The first day!
I was thinking about taking it back but I wanted to get the money!
I guess Zawji saved me the hassle of having to take it back to the store.
It was very cumbersome having to pack my bag on it everytime I went somewhere and having to lock and unlock it and watch it when I didn’t take my bag off. It was fun riding it but that’s all I really was going to use it for.
Riding around having fun
It’s not like I have to go to work or anything.
I’m even thinking about cutting my phone off.
I just use it for music.
Me and Ibni and Zawji use Messenger or Google videocalls.
I don’t even facetime.
And I haven’t even been using my phone for music lately.
I could use the hundred dollars for something else.
Rent maybe?
I’m thinking I won’t get another bike until I have a secure place to keep it.
Too bad the shelter here is not like L.A. where you can just pay to live there.
I think here you have to let them program you.
And I ain’t the one.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
So, I had a really good night last night. Very peaceful.
Something is happening to me in New Orleans.
I think its the way they talk.
It’s almost hypnotic. It takes me to another place. I feel different. Like I’m getting New Orleanized.
The music too.
Not even Brass but regular party music.
The Honeycomb Hideout is right next to this club and I used to think I would NEVER go in there, but they’re starting to affect me.
I think it’s the same people I was around during Mardi Gras, when I was jamming to their music.
The music makes me feel some kinda way.
I don’t want them to have that kind of power over me.
I feel like I’m slipping into darkness.
I had booked a room but when I got there they said the building was flooded.
BUT
I know they just wanted to rent to tourists.
I was pissed but my teacher taught me, “if someone doesn’t want you in their ‘house,’ find somewhere else to go.”
The other hotel I use was booked solid too, and I was not about to pay $125 to share a room. I mean, I thought about it and I still might but I’m mad they raise the price for Mardi Gras. I thought it was over!
I’m thankful for my peaceful night’s sleep. No telling where I’m gonna be tonight.
The bike would have been good to go to the other shelter but I think Zawji doesn’t want me to go.
They don’t want me there. And I am an A+ student. 😉
So, I’m going to find somewhere else to go.
I feel like going back to L.A., but I have this dentist appointment.
I feel like saying forget it.
But there’s no place I’d rather be than right here in front of the sunrise over the Mighty Mississippi River.
I don’t think there are too many rivers bigger than the Mississippi. Maybe the Amazon and the Nile but not in North America.
It’s absolutely breathtaking.
I’ma take a picture. BRB
Okay, Zawji doesn’t want me to take a photo.
He Wants You To Come See For Yourself.
I try to catch the sunrise over the river every morning.
When you’re homeless, you get to see and do so many wonderful things you would not if you had a home.
The first time I was homeless, I used to ride the bus from DTLA to Malibu every morning. They still have seashells. Well, they did back then. That was in ’99, I think. I saw a turtle stuck in the sand. I got scared when I realized what it was after I started digging. I hope it wasn’t dead. Turtles can live in their shells, right?
When you’re homeless, you usually have to get up early, either because you sleep in a shelter (they always make you get up before sunrise) or because you slept somewhere you’re not supposed to be so you have to move out before the people arrive.
So, catching the sunrise over the beach or the river is not difficult.
This morning I went and had breakfast at the 24-hour IHOP and almost missed it.
I had to run!
Now everybody’s in front of me running along the riverwalk for exercise.
I’ve never liked running for exercise.
And Ibni runs track! LOL
Never been a runner.
I’ll do aerobics or play basketball, handball or tennis, but just to go outside and start running around, nah.
I will walk! Cheah.
Ibni’s always been fast. I never knew it but when we went to Saviour’s Day, he was playing tag with the boys as usual and one of the Brothers came up and told me he was fast. Hakim was five and this boy was like fourteen!
I took a picture of him finally tagging this brother who was about four years older than him too. He got him. And, I got the picture. No telling where it is though.
I still never imagined him running track.
Just another one of our many differences. 😀
I used to love to go to View Park and walk around this little track they have for exercise. The view was amazing. That is the number one neighborhood for rich Black people. Ray Charles used to live there. And I think Stevie Wonder still does.
I also LOVE to walk around neighborhoods and through the city.
I like looking at houses. That’s one of the ways I get caught trespassing. LOL Sometimes curiosity gets the best of me.
I like looking at stores and businesses before they open. Clothing stores give me ideas for garments and accessories. Also I find out where I can buy shoes I like.
It’s also interesting to see the differences between locations in the daytime and at night.
The differences can be like night and day. 😀
It’s so peaceful here.
This big carnival cruise ship just blocked out the sun.
I wonder where it found the river from the ocean or if it just travels up the river. It seemed too big to just travel up the river. Ocean liner.
It was called the Carnival Triumph. I’ma Google it to see where it travels when I get online, In Sha Allah.
Zawji said I can take a picture now. In sha Allah. BRB
It’s too bad I can’t make a video. My phone is tripping. The seagulls sound just like the ones in L.A. but they look different. They have black heads and wings. The ones in L.A. have white heads and grey wings. I think the ones in L.A. are prettier. These look harder.
Man. I can’t believe somebody got me for my bike. I would buy another one but I’m afraid the same thing is gonna happen. I bought a chain with a lock this time instead of the bike lock I usually get that Zawji and Ibni said are good locks. But somebody stole Lulu The First when I had that lock so it probably didn’t matter.
I could sit here all day. My laptop battery lasts nine hours. It’s seven now. So I could stay until four but I know the people are gonna come. They’re already getting on my nerves.
I think I’ll go to the park. Whick one? Dk
But I know it’s time to leave here.
BRB
I’m in the Riverwalk Mall
There’s jazz and wifi. Let me see if I can connect.
BRB
Yeah, I’m connected but I don’t really need it.
I love this mall BEFORE IT OPENS. 😉
This is my prayer: Oh Zawji! Help me to accept the things I don’t want to change. The courage to believe it’s true and the wisdom to know that it’s true without a doubt.
I have to get ready for the new world. Everything will be perfect. It’s difficult to imagine a life of complete happiness but I’m getting ready. I always think something bad has to happen whenever something good happens. But it’s not like that. Everything will be good with no bad. We have to change our thinking. I’m praying to Zawji to help me. He can do everything without help. That’s why He’s Allah. I’m Allah too but I still need a helpmate. I’m working on it.

I just G’d the Carnival Triumph. It leaves from New Orleans and travels to the Caribbean. That’s probably why it was empty when I saw it. I thought it stopped in New Orleans. It stops in Cozumel and Yucatan. And the longest cruise is only five days. My vacations last months. Hell, my whole life is a vacation. I’ve been in New Orleans maybe a year and I’m still seeing things I’ve never seen before! What can you see in five days?
Today, I plan to visit the Insectarium. I LOVE BUGS! And I’ve been wanting to go but never had the ends. They have an aquarium and a river zoo type thing (Audubon Park). Idk the L.A. Zoo kinda soured me on zoos. The accommodations are atrocious. But I looked at some pictures and it looks kinda cool.
I happened upon City Park one night and that place was the bizzomb!
It’s huge!
I have a spot where I like to go and chill by a flowing water spot in one of the river’s tributaries.
Let me see what time the Insectarium opens today. BRB
Man. I hate Mardi Gras. Any other time of year the price is $19, why is it $22.95 now?
It doesn’t open until ten and it’s only 8:50 now. ion even wanna go anymore. Well, I do, but I feel like not going just on gp.
We’ll see how we feel at ten.

I just finished watching “Breakfast At Tiffany’s.”
I don’t know how long ago, maybe a couple of years or more, my friend from High School and her sister had a “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” themed party with a bunch of friends and they all dressed like her and went to tea or something and Idk. I thought it was kind of cool.
I mean, I had never seent the movie but I had seen pictures and I kinda dug her style.
But when I tried watching the movie back then, I couldn’t get past the first few minutes. I didn’t like the way she walked and I didn’t like that she was eating standing up. I’m even against doughnuts now.
But anyway, last year or two years ago, I went to Tiffany’s in the Century City mall and looked at their wedding bands. They didn’t have any yellow gold ones. So, I told them to get some.
Then a couple of days ago, I went to the Shops at Canal Place and there’s a Tifanny’s in there but it wasn’t open when I went (early in the morning). But there was a wedding set in the window and it just completely blew me away.
I had never seen a diamond like that before. I posted a picture of it the other day but let me see if I can find a better one. BRB
It was something like this but darker. Maybe because of the black velvet backdrop but it was absolutely stunning.
Anyway, I thought I would try watching the movie again after seeing such an inimitable stone.
After hearing her speak and seeing how she acted, I couldn’t believe it.
I mean, the pictures made me think she was more refined.
This woman was buck wild and sadly, reminded me of myself.
I felt the same way I felt when I started reading Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.
I had heard so much about the book and Moesha said it was her favorite book and I’m Moesha too (but I was a cheerleader) so I wanted to read the book.
I had to put it down after reading the first paragraph!
I picked it up later.
But this movie was like that book for me.
Shocking.
I don’t want to be like those type of women.
Bold and abrasive.
Sassy I’m okay with.
But she smoked and drank and I’m not even going to mention what she did that made me stop watching a third time.
But nevertheless, she reminded me so much of myself and I knew it was going to have a happy ending, so I watched it.
She changed her name.
I was just thinking about how many times I’ve changed my name.
My parents named me Cheryce Anet Bailey.
Then I changed it to Cheryce X.
Then Makeda Toure’ (After the Queen of Sheba and Kwame Toure’)
Then Cheryce Toure’
Then Latifah Allah.
Now LOVE ALLAH.
I think that’s how it went. I can’t remember but she had a former life and a former name then moved to a new city and completely changed her personality.
I didn’t intend to do that. It just sorta happened.
She went to jail and didn’t care.
I can’t think of how many times I’ve been to jail.
Let me see. The first time in L.A. was in March of 1999 and Horace Tapscott died and the Matrix came out.
Again October 21, 2014
Again in February or March 2016
Those were in L.A.
I went to jail in Vegas and they kicked me out. They actually said they were giving me a “Kick Out” LOL That was in January 2015.
Then in New Orleans. I think it was October or November 2015.
Five times.
The first time was for videotaping at the B-Boy Summit and they said I had a warrant and I had to stay longer for resisting arrest.
Three times for trespassing.
Once for arson (Vegas) I don’t just like to break glass. LOL
I’m really trying to stay out of jail. I was going to go right before Mardi Gras but they let you out in like three days and I’m homeless so I need to stay a little bit longer. So, I was like forget it.
They also make me take off my headpiece. I don’t like that.
